I am going to cry when i see the movie :( Harry Potter has been hit me since i was a kid! And now... i am almost an adult! When i get kids, i will read the books to them and make them watch the movies ^^

After going back in time and preventing Tom Riddle from being born they travel 2000 years to the future to face the post apocalypse war at Hogwarts. The first part ends when Harry and Hermoine are making love under the whooping willows. Part 2 picks up 5 years after part 1 where Harry and Dudley are kidnapped by unknown forces and are put into the Spartan II project.

I hate the way they've made Voldemort look like the Elephant Man and sound like he has Bronchitis. I sense a film destined to be just as appallingly dire as its predecessors. A fantastic set of books, ruined by incompetent directors and even worse actors. Why they chose such a shoddy bunch of people to play such high profile roles is beyond me. It's so saddening.
Movies differ from books, and it sometimes gets confusing. For better understanding of the movie you should read the book, it is not necessary, but it will help. It kind of makes you feel like you know the secrets of the movie. :) I love movies AND the books! Jeez, I don't think I'll ever hate it, or get annoyed with it.

i cant believe this is ending, i grew up with harry potter, i swear when imma watching the FINAL part im going to cry. i just cant believe its almost over, but when it is, we will always have the characters and brilliant actors in our hearts. harry potter is something i will never forget. it gave me a lifetime of fantasy and joy, harry potter is is absolutrely brilliant and will always bring me jOy when i read the series or watch the movies. Guys, The movie sucks. If you want the best Harry Potter advanture you should read the book, Voldemort is not like he should be in the movies, just like Dumbledore. In the books it are great wizzards, Voldemort looks like a loser to me in the movies. And Dumbledore from the first two movies is like the one in the book. The Dumbledore now is just not how he should be. WOW just a too long comment ;)
Just so y'all know, Harry talks to ollicander at the beginning, that's shell cottage. He does this in the books, but it just confuses illivander. I don't know why they chose that bit for the trailer, but they did. Dumbledore won't come back, that's retarded. They can still talk to him though, through the portrait.
The guy at 25 seconds is scary! I found out he is a Death Eater. He has just uploaded his audition clip ( on Youtube as "Paul Khanna audition clip"). SCARY! lol

The first movie will probably end where Ron decides to leave them. I understand they want to stay more true to the novel and there are a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up,,,,but I still don't like it that I will have to wait to see the second half.

@jakelisawiens The first movie isn't going to have much action in it then. Ron leaves somewhat early (I believe it's near page 300 or 400). But still, splitting it into seperate parts is probably a bad decision on their part.
Something that really annoys me is the way they change things in the movies. That part where Harry is talking to Olivander is different from the book. In the book, Olivander knows about the Elder wand, but he doesn't know anything about the Deathly Hallows. I can understand why they need to cut out certain parts to save time in the movie, but I don't see why they need to change parts of the story itself.
i just wanna say that after seeing the first and second harry potter movies, and then rereading the book, you can pick out many parts that are EXACTLY like the movie, after and including the third movie, the movies became too different and too many important parts that are not in the movies. i was hoping that this last movie would be like the book, but after seeing this trailer, my hopes of this are gone. I still hope that it a good movie though
I got so excited yesterday because Julie Walters mentioned in her BAFTA acceptance speech about how Helena Bonham Carter (who was nominated in the same category) and her had been filming the scene where Mrs Weasley kills Bellatrix a few weeks ago.

this is the best trailer i've seen yet for any of the potter films. that scene where hermione holds up her bloody hands is epic. i'm so excited. nothing will beat the experience of watching the last 2 movies EVER with friends who've also grown up reading the books.

@jakelisawiens well since there is so much stuff in the last novel, they (the movie producers) couldn't take much out without it not making sense. and movies have a time limit of i think at most four hours, so they couldn't do it...can't wait to see it!!!

@jakelisawiens The first movie isn't going to have much action in it then. Ron leaves somewhat early (I believe it's near page 300 or 400). But still, splitting it into seperate parts is probably a bad decision on their part.

Something that really annoys me is the way they change things in the movies. That part where Harry is talking to Olivander is different from the book. In the book, Olivander knows about the Elder wand, but he doesn't know anything about the Deathly Hallows. I can understand why they need to cut out certain parts to save time in the movie, but I don't see why they need to change parts of the story itself.

i just wanna say that after seeing the first and second harry potter movies, and then rereading the book, you can pick out many parts that are EXACTLY like the movie, after and including the third movie, the movies became too different and too many important parts that are not in the movies. i was hoping that this last movie would be like the book, but after seeing this trailer, my hopes of this are gone. I still hope that it a good movie though

I got so excited yesterday because Julie Walters mentioned in her BAFTA acceptance speech about how Helena Bonham Carter (who was nominated in the same category) and her had been filming the scene where Mrs Weasley kills Bellatrix a few weeks ago.

I have to admit that I'm kind of disappointed with the way that the Harry Potter franchise has turned out :/ I loved the books, but none of the the films that have been made have ever lived up to them, in my opinion anyway. But I jut hope that the film makers get this one right, then at least one of the films will be good :)

this is the best trailer i've seen yet for any of the potter films. that scene where hermione holds up her bloody hands is epic. i'm so excited. nothing will beat the experience of watching the last 2 movies EVER with friends who've also grown up reading the books.
if the movie turns out to be at all what the trailer looks like, i might actually get through one without being disappointed for once! here's to hoping...that last hogwarts battle ought to be delicious as well!
