im pretty sure the main reason you didnt like the game was because u dont like FPS games very much. I had a very open mind going into the game, not even expecting there to be any more players to play online with. What i got was a great shooter. They throw the same enimes at you but i didnt get bored. The variety of the missions is what made it not tedious. The online mode is soooo much fun and is worth the retail price alone. I bought it with "lit" and there both great games.

The Conduit would be a good game to look at. Rated Teen with great online. Lots of people playing still, with a lot of different modes. The story isn't great, but the levels with generally keep you hooked. It will cost you about $20 new.

I found a math today within 4 seconds of connecting.Sadly if you look up the other console versions, they make it look like crap. We got ripped off on wii again they could have made it awesome.
I disagree with most of what you said except for the time limit also I played quantum of solace it was interesting but the controls were sometimes shotty and repetitive. Other than that I thoroughly like both quantum of solace and onslaught.

Comparing a downloadable (wiiware) game to a retail title seems just slightly unfair. It's like comparing a low budget movie to that of a blockbuster. Think of the limitations.
I think Hudson did a great job with this game. It's effectively an arcade game in the style of a FPS. Gaining the highest score is what Onslaught is all about and I had great fun with the game because of this aspect. :)
@KPWNINJA Thats true but then there are low budget movies that are better than blockcusters, in fact most drama movies are better with a low budget that the blockbuster, and certinlly the horror is much better, compare Nightmare on elm street with a budget of 1,800,000 dollars to its remake with 35,000,000 it is bad because of the high budget special effects, and look at all the classic horror films, all had lower budget, lower budget movies, are usually better because they make you work harder

Hudson was very lazy with this. They put little to no effort into the multiplayer, level designs, or enemies. The only part of the game that was even good were the graphics (controls are okay at best).
When $10 FPS's like Perfect Dark are extremely fun to play, this is just unacceptable.

If you really want a good FPS experience on the Wii buy The Metroid Prime Trilogy. It has 3 of the greatest FPS's of all time and is easily the best FPS game(s) on the Wii, in my and many other peoples opinion. it's better than this, Quantum of Solace, and The Conduit. All it really lacks is online. By the way are you going to review Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: Reflex? It should be coming out soon and is probably going to easily become the best online Wii FPS.
i think that OnSlaught is worth the $10, but I'm probably not going to get it. I don't need it. There are much better shooters out there, even on Wii.
Quantum of Solace is a good rental, but if you're looking for a good wii fps that might be worth buying, AT LEAST TRY The Conduit. The online multiplayer is one of the best on Wii, and the single-player game has challenging enemies. both modes have perfect controls!

Totally agreed. This game was boring as hell and a total letdown for even the small price of $10. Quantum of Solace was great, The Conduit was decent. But you could have more fun reading the owners manual for those two games than you would of playing Onslaught, seriously. The owners manuals..
Well wiiviewr you do have to remember that wiiware games only have a 40 mb size limit so you cant fit 2 mush content in2 a game with that so thats probly why there is no 2 many enemy models. At $10 this looks like an ok game.

It was a good game for 10 bucks thats how you have to look at it. But i respect you for giving you true opinion instead of just appeling to fans. I think what made it good was the controls. It played well but i would never pay any more than 10. Its a good starter game to show how to play the wii
Personally, I absolutely loved this game... I thought it was fun to bust out the SMG and just hail volleys of gunfire onto swarms of enemies. Some levels were boring, but later in the game when there were swarms of up to 100 enemies at points, I had a good time.... Also, the price was just too hard to resist. The game (to me) has plenty of replay value, with all of the different difficulties on it. It's just a way for us FFS fans to play something while we wait for The Conduit.
I agree with the time limits, but I still think the game is good, but not great. It's better playing co-op online.

Medal of Honour Hero's 2 has great online play! You can get it fairly cheap now as well.

It was a good game for 10 bucks thats how you have to look at it. But i respect you for giving you true opinion instead of just appeling to fans. I think what made it good was the controls. It played well but i would never pay any more than 10. Its a good starter game to show how to play the wii

Personally, I absolutely loved this game... I thought it was fun to bust out the SMG and just hail volleys of gunfire onto swarms of enemies. Some levels were boring, but later in the game when there were swarms of up to 100 enemies at points, I had a good time.... Also, the price was just too hard to resist. The game (to me) has plenty of replay value, with all of the different difficulties on it. It's just a way for us FFS fans to play something while we wait for The Conduit.

What's up with the rumble feature, you go to turn it on in the Options menu and there's no rumble present throughout the entire game.

There isn't much, but when you kill a boss and they crash down, the rumble feature is used.
