it's kind of annoying the way they leave you on a cliff hanger at the end of every episode and the you've got to wait for the episodes to come out every week the best way to watch these would be to resist watching the new series untill it finishes and then just get the series box set and watch them back to back but i can't help myself and i end up watching the next one thats out. i envy the people who haven't seen any lost episodes at all cos they could watch 4 series in a row. I agree they fooled us with this preview.. but they never said it was all next wednesday. It says "Next Wednesday... On all new Lost... A great new season is just beginning... It' s not that simple. Try to think of them as being 'unstuck' in their own timeline. The record analogy isn't quite accurate unless you hark back to the Horace Goodspeed incident. Faraday's later metaphor of time as a street is much more useful. The fact that you can walk in a circle on the street doesn't make the street itself circular.
People who have read 'the Dark Tower' of Stephen King, will clearly recognize the same storyline. In the Dark Tower the maincharacter Roland, he actually finds himself in a loop but he doesn't know that. The storyline repeats itself.

I think you're partly right, there is a loop in play, but probably a smaller one. I think the Losties will turn out to be the Hostiles that the Dharma Initiative initially perceived as their enemy...so I would not be surprised if they tried to break into the barracks to get supplies, which leads to the events we see in Ben's flashback in the schoolroom. The time travel is a great narrative device, and will let the writers answer a lot of questions.

It's not bringing in new elements, it's tying together everything that was already there before - some of it was only hinted at previously: expect to see Minkowski on a ferris wheel sometime soon, and expect to see the air stewardess get lured away from the group as they are carrying a stretcher through the jungle etc. It's all falling into place: just watch. :D

I don't think so. Not all clips in this promo are necessarily from the next episode, and it is relatively likely that Charlotte says that line in the episode of it's name, which wouldn't air until after January.... Yea, I'm crossing my fingers.

I don't think the issue is of a constant. The reason that Desmond needed one in his episode was because his conscious was jumping in time, but Charlotte (and the others) are all jumping physically through time. She is not having the same issue, and if she was, I'm sure Dan would be able to take care of it. Dan would probably even be her constant...
But no, I believe the situation is entirely different, as is the solution (if any),
I like the theory that the oceanic 6 weren't suppose to leave the island and the reason they must come back is because destiny has to "course correct" that mistake.

jin is obviously still alive. he died in the real world, like locke did, but he probably got drifted back to shore. its any minute now that he shows up. locke is goin to be transported back on the island and he will be alive again.

I don't think so. Not all clips in this promo are necessarily from the next episode, and it is relatively likely that Charlotte says that line in the episode of it's name, which wouldn't air until after January.... Yea, I'm crossing my fingers.

I don't think the issue is of a constant. The reason that Desmond needed one in his episode was because his conscious was jumping in time, but Charlotte (and the others) are all jumping physically through time. She is not having the same issue, and if she was, I'm sure Dan would be able to take care of it. Dan would probably even be her constant...
But no, I believe the situation is entirely different, as is the solution (if any),

I heard about it, and I say, that she can be. I thought on one crazy theory, that it will be Jack´s grandmother, bc his grandfather will be in the same episode, but I think for now, that more possible answer will be Daniel.
