Indeed, i was 15 when this aired on HBO as i was excited after reading about in Spawn comics. I've been a fan of Spawn since issue 1 and had some of the action figures, this was a great example of adult animation as a show that has the feel of CSI, Se7en, Saw, The Crow, Wicked City and Urotsukidoji in it. Did you watched this on HBO too? its much better than the lousy movie

@Johnlindsey289 I saw this when it aired on HBO too and had some of the comics and action figures as well. It also has the dark feel of Blade Runner, Batman and Dark City to it as well. The movie was lousy compared to the series but i must confess it to be a guilty pleasure of mine.

Todd Mcfarlane will do a Batman Begins style reboot of Spawn the movie in 2012 and make it as dark and in the style of Silence of the Lambs or CSI kind of and make it more true to the comics. Sam and Twitch will be in it.
