    no no thank,,,

i dont like this GM / GMC vehicles,,,

    some good and some not

  • ha ha, they forgot that HONDA MAKES FUCKING AWESOME MOTORCYCLES that chevy CANTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • i rode in a friends 2005 malibu ...does anyone know why it had crazy amounts of road noise????......it was the loudest "new" car i have EVER been in!!..

  • No, see, Howie, here's the thing, Toyota & Honda do NOT NEED to offer extra coverage because they actually build cars that you can actually count on to START when you need them to & nor be in the repair shop every 3 days!!!!!!!!

  • @landyachtfan79 It's still nice to buy American but know what you're getting into. Be prepared to rely on that import if you have to take the American car in the shop or spending the spare time working on it yourself! > : /

  • @Agent1W HELL, YEAH!!!!!

  • Honda and Toyota = Gayer than Chebby.

  • I really dont think the malibu is a good example to use against a accord or camry. The impala is a much better choice to stick with. It has the name and respect of the cars of old. Its reliable, powerful and depending on model has the same if not more luxury options than both accord and camry. Sure it costs a little more and spends a tad more gas but its a much better competitor than the malibu which has alot of bad press based on previous models.

  • Howie Long is a douche, a tool and a fucking LIAR. If I EVER see him in public I will throw a hot diarrhea bomb at him, then ask him how my ASS tastes. Fuck that stupid moron and I hope he dies from a stroke soon. :-)

  • What i cant beleive is how people can still buy GM products after they took tax payers money through bailouts n all that shit. GM is fucking trash

    Chevrolet

-Can Hear Every Valve Rap On Long Extended Trips

-Cheap, Hardly Efficient, Virtually Run On Luck Every Time

-Cracked Heads, Every Valve Rattles, Oil Leaks Every Time

-Constantly Having Every Vehicle Recalled Over Lousy

    Engineering Techniques

  • Because it is an american company and we should take pride in one of the few industrys we have left. Toyota took bailouts from the Japenese Gov't, but the Japenese aren't all bent out of shape. If GM went under this country would be in a mess.

  • I don't give a shit if it's American or not. People should support a company that can make a better product. Take pride in a company that barely let you down. People still blindly buy some cars because of the nameplate an origin. That doesn't prove that the quality of the product the badge is selling you is actually good. GM should of managed their shit better. And now toyota is starting to do the same fuckups.

  • yeah since HOWIE LONG is such a professional at automotive issue's ...i will surely bow down and buy a GM for that sake alone!!...WOOT fail commercial GM XD

  • lmao, GM is hardly reliable compared to honda and toyota, dont get me wrong i like them more then foreign, but their not as reliable lol, fords getting way bettter, there ranked right up there and even has some vehicles that are more reliable then certain toyota and honda cars, maybe GM should actually have something ranked up there with them before they start sayin how good they are, and i beleive Chrysler has a lifetime powertrain warranty, so them sayin their warranty is great, is jack shit

  • I love how GM is making better products and everyone gets offended and finds something else to complain about GM....

Is it so bad to be glad your country is back on top??

  • Back on top? Hardly. Not to mention, GM are not making better products, as we leased one of these marvels and it's going back to the dealer when the term runs out. Perhaps it would be in GM's best interest to: 1. Actually make a decent vehicle, and 2. Actually "sell" that car, as opposed to belittling the competition that HASN'T needed gov't bailout money.

  • Well if you honestly think GM doesn't make great cars now a days, then A) you've never been in one, or B) you're just too ignorant and bias.

  • Did you not read my comment? We own a 2008 Sierra! Yes, I've driven it, I've been a passenger in it, and it's got it's benefits (my favourite being the turn signal feature for changing lanes) I was impressed, but it's been one of the biggest pieces of dogshit in our driveway, second only to a Dodge Neon. Let me get this clear- if I don't like new GM vehicles, I'm ignorant, right? Your logic is impeccable.

  • Interesting I own a G6 GTP Coupe,.... the build quality and ride, and handling, and power, and stereo, and well just about everything else is much better than my buddies Accord. Not saying Accord is junk, but GM products are just better. I've also never had to use the warranty on my car for anything.

  • I know someone who owns a G6. He says the accord is better (which I own). And not just better in general, better on gas to. He was telling me how he had to constantly fill it up all the time. I fill up my accord every 2-3 weeks depending on how much i drive. The suspension on the coupe model is also incredibly sporty.

  • you got to be a moran to buy GM products,

  • Irony at its finest.

  • chevy?...lmfao....buy a REAL car like a honda or toyota.....my brother is on his 3rd piece of shit saturn engine...the car hasnt even hit 200,000 miles...3 ENGINES!!! WTF!

  • @coandcaiv You wouldn't know a real car if it bit you in the ass.

  • @fordtrucksftw i haven't seen any american cars biting my ass ....get it?...you fail at life

  • Coming from a guy with a haggard ass Eclipse as his profile pic.

  • gm stop comparing yourself to something better. stop saying youre better than the competition. is that all you got? just " hey we're better because they suck" reminds "everyone" of grade school or the mccain campaign. make a car that doesn't show your complete alliance with big oil. Also this washed up steroid guy does not do your image any better than the 11mpg hummer

  • Agreed completely.

  • i want my bailout money back

  • Same. Every time I see this douche pitching Government Motors products, I wonder how much the US taxpayer is paying for these commercials.

  • DEVON!!! hahah

    that boy is crazy funny!!

    eat babies!!!

  • i cant find the one were he compairs them to hondas and he says the only thing thyre good at is makeing lawn mowers. thats the best ad in the history of man

  • @brs3boc its on here trust me

  • Somone has to bring up Toyota and Honda since none of the press do. Toyota biggest annual loss in it's history was this year at 4.4 billion and you barely heard about it.

  • @FaganChevrolet GM was & is behind Toyota's so called "problems", I guarantee. And don't you even think about trying to tell me that it is not a conspiracy by GM to ruin Honda & Toyota because we NEVER heard much at all about problems with them until your precious GM begged the government for a free pass on making cars that you can't trust to get you to the corner grocery store let alone on a 200 mile trip (bailout money)!!!!!!!

  • @landyachtfan79 excellent point...you hit it right on the money....now if only more people opened their eyes and stopped seeing with their ears

  • thanks GM for mentioning and reminding me HOnda and Toyota

    i'm gonna check them out

how come toyota or honda never mention GMfordchrylser in their commercials

  • Cuz theyre are not worth mentioning.

  • Chevy also backs up the idea that there is a human part in a human leg called the "Tibula" .hell even spell check doesn't recognize it so i guess this is very new and unheard of.

  • Its sad these days there cant be a Chevy commerical without Honda & Toyota being brought up.

  • well because GM likes getting raped by them in sales, reliability, and quality.

  • Its funny because back in the 90's when GM was doing great they advertized why they where so great without bringing up Toyota, Honda, and sometime Ford in comarrison.

  • Of course but their asshole of a marketing team decided to ruin them while facing bankruptcy

  • there advertising does nothing more then make Honda & Toyota look great.

  • Cant agree with you anymore. We have and still own plenty of chevys and ford. But when it comes to basic and reliable transportation we rely heavily on our hondas and toyotas.

  • I give some credit to Ford for trying something different though Honda & Toyota have been running it with the Accord & Camry. The Accord has been the #1 most sold vechile in 2009 so far.

  • Honda is really in the winning streak right now. It amazes me. They are not the cheapest option yet they still manage to break the sound barrier with sales, especially in a weak economy with annoying gas prices. Its the whole balance you get with their package. Probably one of the most rugged versatile cars you can buy. The formula is perfect. Not to much of a fan of toyota but they are doing excellent with their prius, especially the new one.

  • Im planning on getting the Accord within this month

  • new or used?

  • used due to its my first car.

  • Oh yeah, "boy what a feeling, Toyota", great commercial. And the best one of all, the douche Prius Hybrid commercial with all the green people. Yeah right, get over yourself.

  • Bragging about your warranty is just showing that there is a greater chance that the car is going to have problems. Ever hear Honda or Toyota talking about their warranties? No because it's not much, but it doesn't matter because their vehicles never need the warrany. I always trun down the bigger warranty when buying new Hondas.

  • Here's the problem GM, nobody wants to buy your ugly old people cars.

  • Total confidence is total bull$h*t if GM goes bankrupt. The government is supposedly backing warranties but they aren't backing up lemon law claims. Chrysler's lemon law settlement checks are bouncing now that the bankruptcy court has frozen its assets. Same thing will happen with GM when it goes bankrupt. They can promise you anything but in bankruptcy, you will just be another unsecured creditor at the back of the line.

  • what a piece of chevy shit that i bought 3 months ago and 5000miles, the fucking malabu hybrid showed me a battery failure and a leaky oilpan. Generic Motors cant make a proper hybrid feeling those rough gear changes. i returned it to them and got something else.

  • yeah, right! If you truly bought a Malibu, you would know how to spell it.Nice try....

  • i just mispelled it to show how much its sucks so much.

  • Thats why I will never by a chevy or an American car. But, if i had to buy a chevy or an American there would only be two cars I would by 1. Is the EV1 and the new retro designed cars but if they can only build it right.

  • And oh yea, I hate your older chevy commercials it is so racist, and you know what Im talking about THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION 05 commercial series. Who did you commission to produce those commercials the Klu Klux Klan or what? I guess you want to be perceived as such. The last time I checked America was a diverse country.

  • huh? what are you talking about? do you even live in America?

  • Why is your cars (CHEVY) looking more and more like an import car hmmm? i wonder why? thats kind of pathetic, if you ask me. But i do applaud chevys for the new camaro design, the whole retro concept is bad ass (at least your going in the right direction with that one) but dont F it up by putting a massive engine on it. Actually go back to your drawing board and make a revolutionary high tech engine and not some clumsy behemoth of an engine that you employ on your previous sportcars.

  • GM today offers more hybrid vehicles for sale than any other automaker (9). GM sold more than 14,000 hybrid vehicles in 2008.

Unlike some other automakers, GM chose to do its early hybrid development on transit buses, where the fuel savings per vehicles are substantial. GM introduced a Saturn Vue hybrid for the 2007 model year, and one of GMs first 2-mode hybrid models. GMs hybrid lineup will continue to grow; it intends to offer 15 hybrids by 2012

  • of course your going to get those number and awards (bla bla bla) IN AMERICA. what if you calculate the numbers and awards for import cars IN AMERICA and also IN THE WORLD. what would your result be then?

  • Since 2002 GM has earned 65 percent of all J.D. Power North/South America assembly plant quality awards (more than all other manufacturers combined.)

Since 2006, the total number of warranty repairs at GM dealerships have been reduced by 48 percent.

.Since 2004, all GM brands have ranked above the industry average and better than many of the top Asian brands according to J.D. Power and Associates Customer Satisfaction Index and Sales Satisfaction Index.

  • Chevy Malibu has won 35 awards since launch, scored best-in-segment quality in 2008 J.D. Power quality survey.

Silverado scored best-in-segment quality in 2008 J.D. Power quality survey.

Tahoe Hybrid won 2008 "green car of the year" from Green Car Journal.

Traverse is the most fuel efficent 8 passenger crossover with EPA estimated 24 mpg hwy

Chevy has more models that get an EPA estimated 30 mpg hwy or better. More than Toyota and Honda.

    I can keep going......

  • Then why is GM getting hammered in sales by honda and toyota? And comparing the cobalt XFE side by side to the honda civic. They get the same exact MPG, while the civic being a much higher quality build than the cobalt. Did i also mention reliability and resale? this right here is were you sir have been owned.

  • if you compare car by car and engine size by engine size, the conclusion would be that chevy sucks and many other american car. so stop begging for customer with your stupid commercials. it is actually an insult that they say EVERYONE, because they are saying that you are stupid.

  • (sneeze)BULLSHIT(sneeze). chevy confidence mean total failure. if your product is actually competitive why do you have a bailout plan. i mean common, who are you fooling with that shit. why don't you actually create a better product.

  • because consumers buy on 5 year old (mis)conceptions. By the time GM quality got good, buyer perception was poor. If you don't think so, start test driving cars and visit some autoshows. I'm tired of working on my friends' "reliable" import cars.

  • That's my boy!

  • Baby eater!

  • hahahah its a baby eater!!!!

  • The research numbers say different.

The failure within 10 years. GM is at the lowest..

Toyota is at the top. And some more japanese.

Then followed by germans and otehr brands.. but VW is the lowest. Then comes GM..... lol

I drove a Toyota with 700 000 kilometers on it. And it never had huge repairs.

  • Well, explain why Buick is at the top of JD Power and Associate's Reliability Study.

  • No doubt GM is doing better than it used to be quality wise but JD Power's ratings are a big joke. All kinds of crappy companies end up at the top of their various rankings. Their methodology is flawed in general. In fact, if JD Power says it, I am less likely to believe it, particularly when they aren't at the top of any of the other major quality surveys.

  • well when you think about it. You know how buicks are on top right? That survey is based on the problems "Owners had" with them. Most people who own Buicks are old people. And you know how old people treat their cars. Most people who own their hondas beat the living daylights out of it But still the scoring they managed to get in that listing is outstanding! JD's alright but if there is anything that is really biased it would have to be car and driver. They dont explain why they give the rating.

  • because old people own it

  • You want confidence? Get a Honda. Doesn't matter that Howie is mentioning Honda and Toyota (twice). They don't need to have a warranty like this one because everyone knows that Honda's and Toyotas go 250,000 miles. GM needs to learn how to make their cars like the Japanese and German's do. If they did, I'd buy one but they don't.

  • You are full of it. I have two American Vehicles that have goine over 150,000 miles with no real problems. I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota with 181,000 miles and it's used in the Construction Business. I also have a 1999 Chevy Malibu with 172,000 miles-NO problems. Yes I've replaced brakes, shocks, tires (of course) and a couple of batteries but that's to be expected. And yes I take very good care of my vehicles but it isn't 1980 any longer. American cars work just and I will buy more.

  • I agree with you! I worked in a large body shop 10 years ago.The mitsu.nissan, toy and honda body panels(hoods,fenders...)that we got always had dents on them-not the domestics. I remember seeing a 92 Celica that was involved in a small front end crash that deployed the drivers side airbag. To replace the airbag,we had to remove and replace (AKA R&R)the ENTIRE DASH assembly. That is a lot of labor!!! I have never owned anything but domestics and like you I take care of them....

  • ugh i know what you mean i recently replaced the airbag on a toyota 4 runner. same deal entire dash has to come out. But i will tell you one thing though despite japanese cars are a little harder to work on than their domestic counterparts, the worst offender is volkswagen. I mean you have to take apart the entire front end of the vehicle to replace something simple like a ac compressor.
