I love this song but it almost sounds instead of 'watch you work the room' that he's saying (as if to a doctor) 'watch you work the wound', (as a result of cutting loose a gauze) which seems to fit better with the emphasis of the song much better since the whole song seems to revolve around him having an operation (stitch away...scar away...blood cells pixelate...eyes dialate...the weight of it feels (the Novocaine) it kills (the pain..) Just saying, something to consider.
