This is where im going in just 8 more days. And this my first time flying on my own and im 15 and i kinda wanna know what it's like for your first time? Somebody please respond. Im very excited for this trip and a bit nervous :D Great video btw
idk why they are, but i've seen many other videos where they don't deploy them right as they touch down. maybe this one was that the left landing gear touched down before the right and the spoilers need both to be on the ground before they deploy. maybe it was that they bounced at first.
@AboutYourMac its all good. i dont mean to argue, im just sayin, it could be late setting, or could be them last minute putting spoilers up. its whatever, peace
Hawaiian has 4 of these in their fleet (264 seats) and a Google search for "767-300EM" will mostly display results from Hawaiian Airlines. My flight going to Seattle was in one of these planes and had an 80's style interior with CRT monitors overhead and an older style of overhead bins. The plane is still labeled 767-300ER on the outside though.
I think you meant to say this is a 767 flying into Honolulu. The only narrowbody aircraft HA flies is the 717 for inter-island flights. Long distance routes are handled by 767-300ER or 767-300EM (EM models are unique in that they have emergency exits over the wings).
honolulu international is a nice airport to land in

Beautiful footage. Sad to see the Aloha 737s parked awaiting disposal.
Thank you for sharing this.

those spoilers were deployed late on the landing. I know they immediately deploy when the main gear hits the runway.

yea they probly forgot to pre set spoilers

or they were late on them for a reason.

Youre right it was a 767-300ER. However it had emergency exits on the wings (2 on each side)
