@RedneckTypeOfFun Haha. hell yeah. I'm just breaking in the new top end on my kx 80 big wheel, sucks, can't nail the top end for more then half a second, so theres like NO power.
His was me with about 30 mins of riding a dirtbike under my belt. This was 1 hell of a bike to learn on i tell u. Made me a better rider than most ppl i know.
@RedneckTypeOfFun Yeah, But it's a very reliable, dependable trail bike for beginners. Thought, I've been riding since I was 5. Don't know why I still have it. haha.
Sweet man there insane. This one has a FMF Gold Fatty and a power core 2. And a aftermarket rear sprocket. I dont think me or my my have topped it out and weve gone fast. About 60+ probly. Great bike
i got that same bike. i was gonna get a newer one but i relized that the older kx 80 are just as fast but there bigger than the new ones. so thats why i got it.

What mix ratio do you run, I run 32:1 on muddy trails, 40:1 on packed trails, and 48:1 when racing or 50:1
kartz4fun 2 years ago
@kartz4fun i run a 52:1. it seams kinda lean but it runs perfect on it. it wont run right on a 32:1 or 40:1.

Yeaa. Once you get good u can power shift and stay in the power band tho. Gotta hold on tigut tho its a wicked ride.

@RedneckTypeOfFun Yeah. I can only imagine, coming off a TTR to this, just hitting the powerband for a second is a blast. I can't wait.

Someone's afraid of the powerband.
