The reapers are going to come through a mass relay in batarian space, so shepard sets an asteroid base on a collision course and destroys the mass relay basically killing everything in the system. They also made it so you cant save the batarian colony because they wanted him to be grounded on earth

@panzerstrelok I would suggest that you do not worry.ME1 was amazing rpg wise and ME2 was amazing combat wise,and it looks like they combined them to make a masterpiece.Plus,now Bioware ist concerned about any more sequels so they can make the ending much more diverse and interesting.Add some coop and you have game of the year.:)

I hope that Bioware gives the Reaper a way to "mass indoctrinate" a city; it looks like the Reapers are just killing everything (not collecting) of course they will probably get bodies after they're dead but everything they kill gets incinerated.

I havent read the novels, so I don't actually know how they indoctrinate but I hope they show how the reapers will abduct everything after all defenses are destroyed and such.

Yeah, I think it was obvious that they communicate with it, but if it was also indoctrination it would make things even more amazing; Reaper comes down to Earth after destroying all the ships, blows up all of the ground defenses, indoctrinates every other living thing (making them get into the "crab reaper") then send husks to kill anything that resisted it.

There is a video BioWare recently released explaining where the sound for the reapers came from. And I'm not going to spoil anything about indoctrination for you, however, if you read ME: Retribution, it explains how indoctrination works.
