@nucleophilic03. I had prk done on august 17 and it is the best thing I have done. My prescription was -6 in one eye and -5.75 in the other. Right know my vision in my left eye is 20/20 and 20/40 in the other. That's fantastic the doctor said for just being a little over 3 weeks out. The contact lens was not bad as long as you lubricate the eyes constantly. My vision was pretty blurry for about a week after the contacts came off. But every day, vision gets better and better. Good luck wi
I am going in for my Prk surgery in about month. I have a question about the protective contact lens. From what I am hearing I hear that the protect lens drys up and may cause discomfort? Is that true? and also do your eyes become scratchy and if so do the eye drops given help? Thanks! Your video was helpful!
@nucleophilic03 It can get a bit dry, especially in the middle of the night and in the morning when you wake up. The eye drops help immensely. Oasis Tears Plus's job is to keep the eyes moist so they were especially great. I'm still on those drops every two hours. Thanks for the comment! I'll soon post the other video that I already filmed the day the contact bandages came off.
