they put the single player in because they can... look at most popular shooters the single player is generic, but still fun. look at section 8(original) they just put some flashy cutscenes and threw you into a bot match, that was still fun... as long as its fun, i'll play it... yes they could focus on the multiplayer but this gives them a "hook" they can market, and have marketed how it has a full campaign and its only $14! how many other shooters can say the same?

Said it before gonna say it again - Best MP PC FPS game of 2011. Self Publicity is the main factor to the less than ideal sales. GFWL is the second factor, as it restricts many countries from being able to purchase it. Finding TB's 2 servers (2nd has been added as the 1st is always full, now both r!) Recommend this game to your BF3/COd playing friends tell them to pass BF3/COD to their 8 year old nephew & experience a serious gamers game.

Prejudice was WAY different from the first one, but probably in a good way. I only wish they got the maps from the first one as DLC for the second. Those maps were the best. S8P has maps that are far too rural in comparison to S8. Either way, it's a great game.

Funny story about detpacks. One time I was playing assault and I had some concussion packs, so I placed detpacks on one of the control points and whenever the enemy team hacked it, I blew them up, defused the CP, and placed new detpacks. Very effective.

I think the 32 player matches are fun and exciting, and that the gameplay is deep. But the main downside is that most of those players are actually computerized bots, So there will be about 3 players on your team and about 12 computers. I think that if this game was a disc it would be much more popular, and a safer purchase

What do you mean no problems with Windows Live? I have a problem with Windows Live and this very game: I have to download the DLC through Windows Live and although I have given permission to do so (about 5 times) it won't... ever!

There also is a download DLC button, that refers directly to the steam store DLC but guess what: I BOUGHT A 4 PACK WITH 4 TIMES ALL THE DLC, AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET IT. Windows Live, seriously...
