  • Just use a cokin filter holder, with adapter £3/4 or $5/6 on ebay. then get rid of all that crap on your lens. Much simpler just to screw onto your filter ring on the front of your lens. Cokin made these shapes 30yrs ago and are still available. To make your own just cut the cardboard to either the A or P size cokin filter size depending on which you use. Then create your own shapes with a craft knife $2

  • Ahhh! I have material that would be perfect for such a project. Fantastic. Thanks for uploading.

  • So one cut hole shape in the filter creates several shapes in a photo? 0_o

  • @Budgiekens The number of shapes depends on the number of light sources in the scene, not the number of the holes. The light needs only a single hole to get inside the camera, such as the aperture inside the lenses. For example, if you have 5 light sources and let them out of focus, with a normal bokeh you will get 5 shapes like a circle, but with this technique, you will get 5 custom shapes as you wish.

  • amazing :)
