Lipucd asked what the most difficult, long-winded, and stupid unlocks are. SRW K is not even half the length of F/Final, most of the "separate and specific requirements" are simply "sortie everyone from the show", and those are for bonus characters who die in the canon.
In F/Final, you don't get *any* of the Gundam Wing leads automatically and, even if you do everything right, you have to wade through 76 stages to get them all. That's like a SRW where you don't get Mazinger Z until the end.
Yeah that does sound awful. It's one thing for mediocre at best side units to live for about 6 or 7 stages before the end. It's another thing for an entire god damn series to be missable.
Hm? Why is it that Koyo is the only Fafner pilot who doesn't get a Dynamic Kill? That makes about as much sense as Rey's Legend Gundam not getting any, and how can you say that makes sense?
Yeah, not in the Mark Drei, but she did have one in the Babylon Model.
Incidently, SRW L gave Legend 2 Dynamic Kills (GDU-X5 Assault Beam Mobile Cannon and DRAGOON System), so they at least corrected that mistake (along with giving Gundam Seed Destiny a better overall showing than in K).
So getting the Gundam Wing units beats 18 separate and specific requirements spread out across the majority of the game and driven into every single route split across the game, finally culminating about 4 missions before the end, with one requiring dumping all of your money into one unit that still isn't sufficient enough for the task it requires?
This anime is sad.
Hope those three guys didn't die

Canon doesn't get one either, and she actually lives in...canon.
...oh wow that was a terrible unintentional pun.

Can I OFFICIALLY say most hardest, long winded, and stupidest unlocks in any SRW game?
...Can I please?

No. You can't.
Look at some of the requirements for Super Robot Wars F/Final.
You have to run through hoops just to get the Gundam Wing boys.

@lipucd Eh, at least do it for the dead man's child.
I had no idea Shoko could be saved though.
