CBS block party was a joke, it was a nightmare, Family Matters and Step by Step belonged to ABC, their glory days was on ABC, when they went to CBS they couldn't compete with TGIF when they had boy meets world and sabrina., plus a lot of the characters were on the tail end of their time, most of the characters have mostly all grown up or not even effective at all.

I actually remember the CBS Friday Night Block party rather clearly.

@barber747 I remember CBS buying ABC's lineup but I vaguely remember it because around 16 or 17 my drama tryouts lasted well into the night.(Septemeber-November) when we started doing dress rehearsals and had our scenes more "nailed" we would get aTV(very old styled) with the 3 networks so we had something to watch amid dressing and putting on makeup. Then after that, I don't know I guess I just wasn't home Friday nights. I grew up I guess.
