It hurts so bad to see our people going down the drains and not much we can do because we live so far away from our home land, but let's never give up okay, we just have to make sure to keep our chins up and love one another no matter how far we live!!
Many years other countries have dumped nuclear and toxic waste off the coast of our country. After the tsunami in 2005 some of this waste washed on to the beach with catastrophic results for the coastal population like "skin diseases and mouth bleedings".
Our people suffer from severe drought and face hunger and violence on a daily basis.
One of biggest problems resulting from the worst drought in 30 years was the heavy loss of livestock and agriculture.
I still wonder what the future of our country Somalia will be. As the world watches civilians starve and super tankers hijacked?
Drought-stricken Somalia indeed! Thousands of our people are struggling to find water, much of which is undrinkable. They already are in an appalling humanitarian situation, brought about by 15 years of chronic armed violence, and are being made much, much worse by this life-threatening drought.
