  • I have been involved in baseball for over 30 years, including playing professionally for 17 years. Aluminum bats are dangerous and should not be allowed in little league. I have done a lot of research along with other professionals and we have found that the ball leaves an aluminum bat at a much higher rate of speed than a wooden bat. Kids do not have the coordination to respond to such changes and are at great danger for serious injury or death.

  • my friend was put in a coma and was on the verge of death when he got hit in the head by a line drive off a metal bat. the switch to wood is so much safer and so incredibly easy.

  • HA gayyyyyy

  • like really is this fox news or something?

  • thats bull shit take away my pop bc kids cant cetch the fuckin ball. fuck bb core

  • @JustGoSka3 you must suck if u need a metal bat t have pop

  • Boo fucking hoo. You got a glove on that hand, learn to use it.

  • whether u use a metal bat or wood bat, the kids gonna get hit in the face by a baseball at a high speed. just matter how fast

  • well, ur stupid

  • i have played baseball for 17 years and i have yet to see anyone catch a baseball with their face unless they misjudge a pop up. If anyone should not be able to use a metal bat it should be gradeschoolers but then they wouldnt be able to hit the ball.

  • o my gosh i have never heard of any one have sudden death on field the chances of that are 2 out of ovey billion

  • Oh my god it's just a bat get over it, kids just wanna have fun playing baseball, sudden death on the field yeah right!!!!! It's a freaking aluminum stick that you swing at a ball, why do you have to be so. Serious about it also, kid's won't die!! He probably just wasn't a good baseball player as a kid

  • this dumb bitch needs to shut the fuck up and just let the kids play jesus christ

  • the higher modulus of elasticity of aluminum necessitates a higher rate of energy transfer to the ball...hence it MUST propel the ball faster. no lack of physical evidence? ahem....

  • Magny80: Got any facts to back that up?

    Didn't think so.

  • @bigyaz Wood bats can break and hit someone. good fact?

  • oh jeeze just let the damn kids play.

  • There is a risk associated to both types, not just metal. There. Is no physical evidence to show that metal propels a ball at a faster speed.

  • @Magny80 false.
