This was at Shuri-Castle wasn't it? I was there last October for the Uchinanchu World Wide Festival. I stayed for a month and shot tons of video while I was there. I'm finally getting a chance to edit the material. i have 4 podcasts done about traveling in Okinawa. Search for "James Knott" and "Okinawa" to check them out. I start by exploring the north end of the island and I'm going to work my way south to Shuri and the WW2 Peace Memorial.
I love Okinawan dance. If you closely at their facial expressions and foot motions it should convey suttle emotions and feelings from the songs. Learn more by doing research.
ahh this brings back so many memories, i can't wait to go back to okinawa someday :D

there called kajadifu tanchame . i daceed in a okinawa kenjinkai. only 2 times
in colarado
