  • Very dubious title eh? But gotta love Mozza

  • ...And Morrissey didn't mind one bit.

  • @superiourcowies Go fuck yourself with a wooden spoon.

  • Morrissey you are funny xxxxxxx

  • Moz couldn't wait to leave

  • haha this was funny :p

  • LOL!

  • That's true, but since then Ross has twice mentioned Morrissey coming to his house for dinner so I don't think there is any hard feelings ....well, maybe after the bum groping here ;-)

  • so true!

  • No, I do as well.

  • what?

  • jonathan ross is so funny =)

    morrissey rocks =)

  • lighten up ffs its just a chat show its not supposed to be serious. do you think they would go on there if what you say is true.

  • well I'd suggest that if you think he's a tosser, digging up his videos on youtube is not the smartest course of action.

  • Jonathan Ross is the best host ever. He's funny, smart, whitty obviously you have no sense of humour!

  • ye-Ha ride him Ross you know you want to!

  • Jonathan Ross just keeps lowering the bar, it's a shame as he always has such interesting (and well behaved) guests!

  • £Millions for Jonathan Ross? I will never buy a license and I am quite happy to break the law as long as that type of purchasing goes on on BBC. Sod off JR, you are a bore who ridicules your female guests and loves gay jibes. Prat!

  • Omg when was this episode on? I can't believe i miss it!

  • Hmm, i think Morrissey is too good for the Eurovision to be honest =]

  • I think that Morrissey should sing that's how people grow up fro Eurovison this year. I think the UK would win if he was in for it =]

  • Sorry sirfrazman, but thats the whole point we are forced to pay, if you want a tv you`ve gotta have a license

  • BBC is the best of media entertainment in the world. I don't mind paying my bit for so much it has given me.

Sky is mainly trash and the only channel i really watch is UK Gold which is 95% BBC shows

  • For all you UK Morrissey/Smiths fans out there, Morrissey will be performing on 'later with Jools Holland' BBC2 11.35pm tonight! Don't miss it x X x

  • The BBC is a tired worn out institution bogged down in political correctness and bureaucracy, i for one wouldnt miss it, the talented people and good shows would soon get snapped up by other tv companies. They constantly fail to show our national sports teams are obsessed with costume dramas and now they`ve even scrapped the greatest kids tv programme of all time Grange Hill. We should be given a choice (democracy anyone)? to opt out of paying the license and forfeit the BBC channels

  • sharia law scum!!! you may take our land but you will never take our freedom FREEDOM!!!!

  • Why so many bad comments. Obviously people don't know Television. Someone said Jonathan Ross should go & we need someone like Lenny Henry or Little Miss Jocelyn to represent multicultural britain. WTF, its a chat show people, he's not representing anything & JR knows his stuff his the best at it now Parkys retired. People who say things like that really need to grow up. JR has been on the box since most of you were even born!

  • Friday night with Jonathan Ross, one of my favourite & light heart funniest shows!

  • The only people Lenny Henry represents are fat unfunny fuckers.

  • Jonathan Ross is not a very funny man.

  • oh god.....very poor

  • That's not really a video title you expect from the BBC!

GET THE TORCHWOOD GANG ON HERE!

  • lol! very unexpected!

  • Loved rossys awkward laugh when mozza wouldn't play ball. Anything that makes Jonathan Ross look like a tosser is ok by me. What an ego !!

  • Haha, quality on both parties. That was one of the few points of that episode that made me laugh hard (JR was funny as usual but the guests weren't really that great). JR is the polar opposite of Morrissey. Which makes it even funnier.

  • On the shoulders of giants lol

  • Morrissey's often stand-offish demeanor often causes people to be over familiar, they should have interviewed him he's a million times more interesting than anyof the other drones they had on.

  • Very true, way too often they just get them to sing, whether Morrissey wanted to talk or not is another thing but maybe a more intellectual platform is needed for this Mancunian Legend to offer his views.

As long as its not the fucking NME!!

  • they did have Morrissey on as a guest not too long a go, but I would preferred him over those mistresses.

  • What a dick it was Jonathons show and he walked straight off

  • He didn't want to shake hands with the twat who poked at at that hamburger earlier in the show

  • thathamburger was funny though but looked like shit

  • I'm sure Morrissey didn't think "Oh my God he's got a hamburger, I wont shake hands with him after I sing then".

  • taxpayers money? you mean license fee payers money.

  • BBC does get government funding, however i did forget about the vile scam that is the license fee. just think, £140 to watch this and eastenders...

  • ...and The Office, Extras, The Mighty Boosh, HIGNFY, Mock the Week, QI, various other comedies, numerous sporting events, documentaries, current affairs, some films, one of the finest music shows in the world (Later), all the radio stations, loads of other stuff I cannot be bothered mentioning. All without advertising, for the 'disgusting fee' of £135.50 per year (The same amount as the average household monthly food bill). But if you don't want to pay it, don't pay it... and stop whinging.

  • "licence" to use my television? In other words nobody would advertise for shit like Eastenders and all the shite you mentioned while ITV and channel 4 seem to be doing alright without resorting to tyranny. Face it, it is not an institution that can sustain itself so the government has brought in a system that is undemocratic and frankly disgsting to the working classes. If they want Al Murray and Peter Kay why should they have to pay for you to listen to John Humphreys and Jools fucking Holland?

  • You're a tit mate, let people enjoy the BBC, you're in the minority, now go and wank alone or something, to rupert murdoch..

  • Yes, I can see where you're coming from, Rupy had a power over men like no other! However, since most of britain resents paying this ungodly fee for endless sketch shows and eastenders, go and find the numerous surveys to back that up, making you are the tit in the minority and suggesting you should wank along with Wossy- TV's biggest "anchor". A massive anchor really...

  • Is the Media Dictator not dead yet? Anyway I'd love to keep arguing but I've just seen a Morissey interview with Woss I never saw from months ago on te right hand pane >> So do be a good boy and see the true quality of Auntie by catching up on 'Life in Cold Blood' with Attenborough. What a fine institution the Beeb is, you slag it off without knowing a thing about it.

  • see, that message seemed cool, aloof and impatient until you wrote it twice. "What a fine institution the Beeb is..." my word, i'm arguing with Alan Yentob. What should I know about Al? GCSE programmes at 3am? fucking genius!

  • Will we be watching Dr Who tonight? Or just collecting 'Gladiators' memorabilia? For when that Rupy show begins? Just wondered. Another series for Ashes to Ashes, hooray the Beeb.

  • Is the Media Dictator not dead yet? • Ran out of room on that rant, but as you say it is the average MONTHLY food bill. Go without food for a month to watch Jonathan Ross, fantastic idea. Perhaps in your silver spooned life you dont realise that £140 is a lot of money for some people, mainly the people who dont watch the shit you mentioned. Find me one person, north of Watford that would choose the office over Phoenix Nights, Jools Holland's Hootenany over take thats new year (bad, but valid example) or Wossy over a months food.

  • Don't be a silly and rather stupid cunt. I am from Manchester, they produce some of the best TV and radio in Britain. And on a further note, it's the same price as a monthly food bill, that doesn't mean you go without one. I suppose your arguement is either not thought through or grossly exagerated.

  • yes, but would you neglect in all your ignorace that to working people £140 is vital in feeding a family? Perhaps cocooned in your borgoise shell you fail to realise that some of Britain is in the reaches of poverty, and paying this sum of money leaves children without presents at christmas, or plates without sufficient nutrients. there is nothing myopic about my argument, as it is the argument of a third of the country

  • actually i agree. the license fee is quite a lot but it's important to have a completely independent source of info like the beeb, which is not controled by shareholders or advertisers but provides a public service. Especially for news. after all we don't want end up with a 'fox news' equivelant which has a massive political bias and where some stories aren't reported because they conflict with the corporations other interests.

  • oh my, that's so wrong. 'independant' certainly doesn't mean true in this industry! Agreed that it is better than fox news, but we still get massively regulated information from the bbc!

  • Oh and I'm a lot further North than Watford and I would choose the Office over Phoenix Nights (I do like Phoenix Nights but prefer the Office).

  • disagree about the lack of bias in the BBC, but a thumbs up for a considered and productive response! True you highlighted the only flaw in my argument for consumerism but I would say the Beeb tows the company line as much as any broadcasters do, and it is indeed sky who are providing, if not unbiased, the best covergage of world events; such as Ross Kemp's thing in Afghanistan. Although not known for his incisive journalism (haha!) His show conveys the grit and reality of warfare like no other.

  • you never listen to the radio stations? you never use the website? you never watch ANYTHNG apart from JR and Eastenders?

if so, (and i doubt it) - then maybe stop paying and do something else. If not true (which I suspect) then stop complaining. No-one is forced to pay

  • It is illegal to recieve a television signal without paying a TV license. No, I do not listen to the radio, as I bought an ipod, no, I do not watch any of their shows, as I bought Sky. So what should I have to pay for you to watch this shit?

  • "Cor blimey I almost slipped in then!"

I'm so glad Mr. Steven Patrick Morrissey did not stick around! I would've slapped JR if he'd attempted to ride me!!!! :o0

  • Why's that ? =p

  • that was just odd...

  • Thats not how people grow up Jonathan!

    Still funny tho!

  • Uhhhh? Ok... That was... surreal.

  • I love the way the BBC are so proud of that that they've put it up here.

  • hehe, funny. Morrissey seems to be getting sexier! :)

  • awkward.
