really kakagul?what did massoud steal? if he was a thief and a killer why is he considerd the national hero of our country. y isnt najib the national hero? massoud was defending all afghans during 1992-94, it was khar hekmatyar killing innocent kabuli's, i was in afghanistan when the taliban arrived, there is a hugee difference between massoud and those extremists, it was massoud who said "extremism will spread and destroy the world".

Yes I also like Ramazan Bashardost. I prefer him over Karzai and Abdullah any day.FYI there was a civil war going on in Afghanistan,people died, that is the consequence of war. Massoud was the only man who brought all ethnicities together, he was the only one fighting for the liberation of Afghanistan. What would you have prefered, Hekmatyar as president? Afghans who dont love Massoud are people who dont want to see a Tajik ethnic as a hero

God bless the both of their souls. The loyalist country men Afghanistan ever had, and Ahmad Zahir lol. No leader can control everything in the finest manner in an uncivilized country. when they blame dr najibullah for killing people i do not deny that but there is no proof that he did it himself. in any country in the world when somebody upraises against the government gets punished or killed. look at the countries they claim that they r democratic and they have freedom of speech or this and that ,they do the same thing against the people they oppose them. hope do not take me wrong.

Kahd was totally functioning against Afghans. Your Najib arrested my father for no reason but just because of old College rivalries--They both attended the same classes. But my father defeated Najib in every event and speech. And even when Najib and his brother Sadiq-e-Khar try to attack my father with a knife, my father physically beat both of their asses in the ally. Ture, he studied in Pakistan. He never said he is against his teacher. Indeed he was somehow influenced by the political ideas of Ghafar Khan who wished to be buried in Afghan soil. One should bear in mind that Pakistan is not a nation but rather a combination. Najibullah was not against its people, he rather wanted Pakistani govt to adopt proper policies towards Afghanistan otherwise it will destroy Paksitan itself. & that's exactly what's happening now... Is that enough for an answer?

Further, Najibullah took the office when the cold war was at its peak. Afghans on both side were deeply affected by propaganda led by forces against Najibullah's govt. Your husband probably belong the this catagory of ppl. But passing of each year reveals more facts about Najibullah and his importance not only for Afghanistan but the whole global security. It's still too early to know Najibullah, his essence, his ideas, his thoughts, etc..

Every curious person knows that Najibullah was a man of diplomacy, negotiation and peace. These characteristics are quite oposite to claims & accusation of being a "harsh man", "killer" or "impatient" person. Tt's logical question. How can such negative characteristics produce a peaceful man who becomes an example for next generations??
