Hey zerosilence I have to disagree with you, it may be some time before we see it but within our lifetimes we WILL see genetically altered super soldiers with the speed,dexterity,and skill to wield this type of weapon, the testing is going on as we speek, enhancing muscle tissue, synaptic transfer rates and surgically implantic extra myomer tissue cable that would enable a person to lift up to 3 tons, all of this on a HEAVILY reinforced skeletal structure reinforced with organic metals. srsly.

It would take huge guns to use that fckn thing in real life and you would be burdened by weight which would make you slow in combat and by the time you take the first swing I would shoot you right in the face :P

@ZeroSilence91 bro there's a reason why there aren't any weapons made out aluminum it's an INCREDIBLY weak metal, there is NO alloy currently that you could use to make this design useable in a real fight, now there is one in development that has 5 times the tensile strength of steel and is only a few atoms thick, but still...you would have to use enough to make it able to withstand impacts and all that so who knows?...it's a great concept weapon though.

@Appollyion Life always has a balance to it. Either its strong but too heavy or light but too weak. But in reality, the reason why this weapon could never be used in battle is because it is technically stupid to use since the skill needed to wield each blade is immense.

he was kinda Emo... anyway, now I'm sorry to say that he was a jerk, just rewatched the movie and wasnt.

Anyway, ever since Kingdom Hearts, Cloud's personality has changed, he talked less, he was always alone for the reason "I'm not strong enought" instead of being with the rest of his friends like in FF7... Cloud in FF7 was just messed up and weird on his own way... But he still interacted with the others and talked like most people do, now he is just quiet and anti-social...

1. some of the blades, when used in actual unison, can just fly out of control... are they glued there?, look at 3:44, if the switch blades and the 3rd and 4th blades just slide into position then wont it be a missle when cloud attempts to slash? if i can see correctly, only the impact sword is secured),

2. the base sword's pivot (2:42-2:44), where the hell is it attached and what is keeping it attached o.O

the design really isnt all that hard. the cost of it would be a bit much but for the right amount i could probably make a fully functional tsurugi. well functional to the point where it wouldnt be illegal to own. swords are only allowed to be so sharp because they are considered a weapon :P

just one very little mistake: the Vigilante (main sword) shortens when its closed. It's like.. some kind of "sleep mode".

Then, when Cloud starts a battle, the "Vigilante sword"opens, showing the slots are used for the swords mix. Look carefully at the movie.

Nice. You've illustrated the whole concept of the First Sword. Holding 6 swords in one will be difficult for the user. but this will deal a lot of damage to the enemies got hit by this. That's where Cloud get his buff body. I wonder how Sephiroth hold on his own with a freakishly long katana. I've noticed his movements on the fight, but I think he is using the Tsurugi's weight to go out of balance by parrying it. Of course he can't parry it by a direct hit. He just let Tsurugi grind and slide.
