These guys remind me so much of David Byrne and the talking heads. Really love these guys. I have an album version that has some songs recorded differently than most of the versions here, particularly "In this home on Ice" and "Heavy Metal". This one is the same as my version though, I like the versions I have of the other songs better.

I used to be friends with Alec. Look for a band called Flashy Python and the Bodysnatchers. It's more artful material which is more suited to his voice in my opinion. That is to say it becomes his voice more tragic and soulful than whiny. With all due respect to the fine and very talented lads in CYHSY who have always been kinder to me than Mr. Ounsworth; and I could be wrong, but it's my perception that CYHSY is his day job, which seems more and more to have swallowed him up.
