I thought this son of Col Gaddafi was one of the "good guys", relatively speaking. When asked if he was a possible successor to his father did he not say that it was not a position to inherit? @JNPhere it is definately wrong.. the whole thing is a farce. gaddafi has no official title in Libya. he isn't technically anything. Therefore his son is technically 'nothing'. on paper everything in Libya is sort of local council run. Yet the family have monopoly of several franchises, a huge cut of oil, each brother is in charge of things like armed forces, police, internal security etc. Gaddafi wanted to get out of the sanctions and instal his son as other arab dicatators all planned to.
