  • hes gona turn out to be a very smart kid... keep up the good work!

  • I was so just like that as a kid! X-D I even had a periodic table chart taking up a wall of my room at one point.

  • I actually started crying. This makes me so very happy and so very thrilled. My heart is happy after seeing such a sweet bond between you two and how you clearly love the little guy!!!

  • THAT'S GOLD!

  • The kid can read the names under the pictures. Amazing.

  • @Matt71490 At two and a half? still impressive.

  • @Matt71490 The fact that he can read and pronounce those words is amazing enough.

  • @Matt71490 i doubt he can read it... he memorized it i would guess..

  • my parents taught me shit like that at that age, but then when i went to primary school it kinda stopped, and i forgot it all, rendering it completely useless. I really hope you keep the kid interested in stuff like this, if you dont let it go stale he could be awesome at chemistry!

  • Oh my Gosh BABY NERDFIGHTER.

    Cutest ever.

  • This kid is good!

If there are any grown-ups watching and wanting something a little more challenging, please see my book on the subject,

Eric Scerri, The Periodic Table, Its Story and Its Significance, Oxford University Press, 2007.

  • Pretty impressed :-O

  • My dad and I used to play this game when I was a little older than him. We had a poster, though. :)

We also had fun putting alkali metals in water, and grapes in the microwave. I don't think my childhood would have been nearly as fun or stimulating if I'd had a dad that did anything other than chemistry.

  • @smetters you used to play this game when you were a little older than your dad?

  • @bendy660 Hah, no, I made that a little grammatically confusing. I meant when I was a little older than the little boy in this video. :)

  • So much win!

  • Well, they do have great knowledge retention when they're younger. :D Keep it up, he's already a genius. :D

  • New show "Are You Smarter Than a Toddler?"

This kid would have me beat...I could kick his ass though hahaha WHO'S SMART NOW?

  • FRANCIUM!!

  • WHAT A CUTIE!!! <3

  • When he grow up... He's going to cure cancer....

  • :') ADORABLE.

    Next year, their atomic mass!

  • Congratulations on raising such a smart kid. This will surely help him with school later.

  • Coolest dad ever.

    Cutest kid ever.

  • He knows more than me, and I've been trying to learn them for two years. Beaten by a toddler.

  • I am in love with your child.

  • Wow, this just made my day. Did he read them or does he have them memorized? Very bright little guy you have there :D

  • this is one of the sweetest and geekiest things ive ever seen.

  • He will be so thankful to his father when his studies this at school, and all his classmates will be struggling to learn it

  • so adorable! next he'll be doing the periodic table song ahah

  • I've been doing this in school for years...
