Get a life loser. And the only people buying those dumb ass stickers and shirts are the people who didn't vote for him and wouldn't vote for him regardless...so Obama is not losing out on anything.
Great to see that you have so much of a life that you would go out your way to look at my page to see my age (when I could care less about yours),further proving my point that losers like yourself have nothing else to do but hang around the Internet complaining about sh*t that is out of your hands.
Also, I pay my taxes like everyone else.. so know what the hell your talking about and who you're talking to before making dumbass statements. Good luck with the life you dont have. Im done :)
LOL! So I gues 60% of the country doesn't pay taxes according to your logic? Im an independent voter dildo. Your rants are the prime example why you retards are out of power now. If it makes your loser existance feel better to beleive I dont pay taxes because I dont agree with you, then have at it. I swear, Obama is driving some of you lunatics over the edge huh? LOL! Continue ranting while the majority of the country doesn't care. YOU ARE WASTING PRECIOUS MOMENTS OF YOUR JOKE OF A LIFE!!
yeah i too..it is indeed such a powerful moment..i get teary anytime i see the video..it is like 3 months after the election but the boyz expression still got my eyes teary u know..that goes to all we all are humans!
I think the real statement is that color SHOULDN'T matter. But unfortunately, in today's society, color does still matter. There's discrimination everywhere, it's just not as obvious as it used to be. It's only obvious if you look at statistics, in terms of salaries and hiring rates. And it's not just with color. It's with sex and religion. Anyone who says "color doesn't matter" is either naive or looking at the future as if it was today.
cuz tho color doesnt matter its the idea that anybody has a chance to become whatever they wanna b. where before no one thought of the U.S. as havin a black president
The boy @ 50 seconds was really touched by the election results! WOW! And I was beginning to think that our young people are apathetic, clueless, and complacent. I am SO happy to be wrong about this.
It is just too bad that most public schools aren't as forward thinking about learning as the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta. It just goes to show that all kids can learn if they are given the opportunity using creative methods. Learning doesn't have to be dull and boring.
I cried listening to him getting so choked up. I think this election will have a strong emotional impact on me for rest of my life.
I know this was a tremendous milestone for African Americans. As a white woman, I feel that my faith in America is restored. Enough of us ignored the hate and the slander and the issue race, and simply voted for the best candidate. I truly feel Obama will be one of our greatest Presidents.
I think its heartbreaking to see this kid crying over having equal rights as a black man.. I mean for him and his generation it shouldn't even be a worry about that, why is it? :( Great kids.. love the song!
Why is it? In response to your question, because he's being taught at an effective learning institution, he is being taught that he is still going to have to be better than other males just to get the same opportunities in this country. Hopefully by the time that he's ready to job hunt, it won't be as bad as it is right now. It has improved, but not as much as it should by now in 2009.
cjl90..."black people got too wrapped up in this election"?? WTH? Have you lived under a rock? or studied American History?
We ALL, should be wrapped up into changing our country for the good. Black people have every right to be proud and "wrapped up"...I am white, and though I can NEVER know how it will feel to walk in the shoes of a black person...one would be blind and dumb NOT to recognize what a significant event in our history that this is. No matter what your race, we have evolved!!
As an African American woman I THANK YOU for your comments! Your compassion for the African American reality in this country is commendable. This is another example of how we have indeed evolved!
Very moving. Brought tears to my eyes (don't know how many times I've done that now). But it was just so touching to see how this young kid was effected by all of this. These kids really cared and I think that's to be applauded. Cheers to the teacher as well.

black people got too wrapped up in this election. Yes, it shows that black people can do anything but nothing will change day to day for them except that that cant go around with the excuse that the man is brining them down.
I cried as I watched this because I thought about my little brother and sister. Look at the impact this election has made on the younger generation. This gives them hope for brighter and more realistic dreams. Yes, racism and prejudices still exist, but with Barack Obama being the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT it not only gives the nation hope, but specifically the black population because we've been torn down and told that we were nothing for so long and It's been a long time coming but change is here.

you guys just keep telling yourselves your nothing. Don't blame everything on white people. Especially the white people of today who had nothing to do with slavery or the discrimination in the 60s.
The children shown here in the video are our nation's future voters whom will continue making this nation a strong and better one. The CNN interview articulated how knowledgeable and aware these children are of politics & how proud they were to experience and to live to see the first Afro-American President elected. It's time to rebuild, and now, with this new President, we all are fully aware that anyone and everyone can make and be what they propose to be! Long live this nation!
This change is so huge ... our country has set a whole new course ... has chosen hope over fear and shown us that all things are possible. I can't remember when kids were so interested and involved in any election. That is such a positive for our country. I have hope for our future for the first time in many years!
I love this video. That young man just filled me up and all of these kids are so well-spoken and insightful. I can't wait to see what kind of leaders we will see over the next 40 years.
what do ya'lls coments have to do with the positive actions of kids in this video??
no wonder america is fucked up, you cant focus on one thing at a time.
