  • @NRob84 No problem bud :D

  • Great!

  • Bravo!!

  • beautiful old fashioned sound... gut strings? Truly beautiful anyway!

  • Yes Mr.Robinson uses an Olive and pure gut strings for his D and A strings. He uses a steel goldbrokat for his E. His sound truly carries Mr.Heifetz's elegance and masculine sound

  • Wow... T_T He's amazing:D

  • nice

  • That was really superb. I am sure Gershwin would approve of your interpretation.

  • Thank you that is very kind of you, Mrausar!

  • Thank you very much Claude!

  • really wonderful Nate but no video ;-(

  • Thank you Frenchi8, don't worry I will put some more videos up soon :)

  • I was asked in a private message by a YouTube user what instrument I used in this recording and what kind of strings I use. To answer the first part of the question, my violin was made by Phillip Injeian of Pittsburgh, PA. It was made in 2004 modeled after Paganini's 'Canon' Guarnerius del Gesu violin. It is a tremendous instrument which I enjoy playing on so much! I use strings by Pirastro Oliv (G), plain gut D&A by Gamut Strings, and a steel Goldbrokat E-string.

  • Great playing!! I absolutely enjoyed listening..thanks for uploading ^___^

  • Thank you very much :)

  • Utterly seductive!

  • Thank you Gav :) I try to play it in that style!

  • Excellent as always! But no video... :(

  • Thank you Mattias :) I don't usually put up sound recordings for YouTube but will occasionally. I will try to make a video of this and maybe some other Gershwin works in the spring/summer time.
