@urtedex I'm a diesel guy, stock power for my truck is 350 hp and 800ftlbs, its sitting in my driveway right now with 587 hp and 1300 ftlbs Real power comes form torque, not high revs and HP.

You already have your truck now get an STI you won't be disappointed :D btw my sti is not my daily and I would like to own a truck but I don't need it. Its an 06 STi. The first/exact same motor/tune was done by ARFab and Topspeed. Bad tune (apparently no idea how to tune high compression) equated to spun bearings. Car was rebuilt again and I tuned it. It is a sleeve EJ257 with Arias 9.5:1 CR (Pointless IMO now after tuning them and running them) It also has a Supertech valvetrain (stock sized valves) and that is it (no porting). Turbo was a GT35R .82 A/R at 24psi on C16. I was out of injector at this point. Tuned on OpenSource, and StreetTUNER.
@crystalimprezav I have a question for you. If you sleeve the block, is there any point in close decking it as well? Is a sleeved block sufficient let say to run a td06 20g?
@partta I would never run a closed-deck block on a subaru ... it's not needed. The stock semi-closed is just fine. Sleeves are then a good idea after 550 WHP or so, or if you plan on running more than 30psi of boost.
@mbdulka Yeah that and closed decks have a tendency to overheat on the street because the heat gets trapped in the cylinders and fucks your shit up real quick. My friend did that, I warned him but he wouldn't listen lol.

Respect for the GT35R, thats what I have on mine too, but is he running 1000cc injectors because i maxed my 850cc @ 22 psi I made 500awhp with 100 octane and mine is also a built Sti. Was he running 93 octane and made 510awhp.
actually, it's about 60hp over a z06.. really more. that is rear-wheel hp, z06 505 # is crankshaft hp. awd cars lose more through the drivetrain... so if you apply the same correction that subaru uses the car actually makes around 640 crank hp. it'll eat a z06 alive.
