We have a running game to compliment our explosive passing attack. Couple that with a stout D-line, solid linebackers led by matthews, and EASILY the best secondary in the league, the Packers, are young, and hungry. We'll be around for a while.

Peterson is a good back. He has not proven that he's 'great', in my opinion. Not to mention, given recent results, the vikes can continue to brag on their run game while ragging on the Pack's. i have respect for favre as a player but i will never respect him again as a person if you were a real fan you would probably know what i'm saying here. Hello? Earth to cocksucker? @sh0rtymac85 You're right. Favre, Holmgren, and Ron Wolfe rebuilt the Packers. It was a pretty awful stretch in the 70's and 80's. Then Wolfe went and got Holmgren and Favre and returned GB to glory. I'm a huge Packer fan, but you have to admit Favre is probably the best thing that ever happened to the Packers. Now, Favre didn't do it all himself, we had really good defenses too, but he was instrumental in everything good that happened to GB for his 16 years there.

Benard Berrian Bear/Viking. Culpepper Viking/Lion Kurt Warner Ram/Cardinal Donovan McNabb Eagle/Redskin people have to understand if a team is offering you good things to win then why not go and play for a team. Brett's decision has really paied off with the Vikes 33 TD's and 7 INT's thats outstanding

@XxDestroyahXx As a player you do not have the right to play for who you want when you sign a contract. Favre signed a 10yr 100+mil contract to retire as a Packer in like 05. That means GB had the right to say "No Brett" you can not go to the Vikings because Brett took the money. If GB told him to play back up he should have said yes sir because the team is bigger then Brett. He requested a release from the NYJ to retire and got to MN that way.
