  • piano doesnt match drum line

  • sick

  • @MrCpdasmedag thanks for checkin it out. got some new stuff on the way...

  • @mazaibuzai no problem. i just got a launchpad and i was wondering how you get the buttons to light up when youre playing on the drum rack? also how to instantly loop what youre playing?

  • yep

  • you must sync the piano with the drums man

  • Godlike!!! at the beginning I didn't find it good but the Piano Part OMG!!! Pls Do a Song of this ! :)

  • thats sick i really like the way you play piano keep it up !!

  • Liking it, I always like a good piano, and you actually know how to play one. though the drums at the beginning need some different sounds. but meh, i don't know anything

  • Liking it, I always like a good piano, and you actually know how to play one.

  • i always love watching people press seemingly random buttons while they're really making music.

  • you suck you rich fuck give me that ableton let me do some hood shit

  • @mrbrianclub it's an original song, no name or music tho. I was making it up as I went

  • @nthegamemaster thank you!

  • Sick jam dude. You're really good.

  • @bigbolo73 reason stock piano

  • @mazaibuzai, what's the name of that song, is it something you wrote, and is it possible to get the music for it? Happy to donate. Also, is that a "live" instrument (the piano), or is it recording from your synth? Thanks, your music is terrific!!

  • that piano isn't from ableton live is it?

  • @bigbolo73 the acoustic piano, with some reverb is good in ableton.

  • alright, um.. does anyone know how to get like voice sounds off the launchpad?

  • @HxWadz i know.

  • @coolm98 hows that mate?

  • so you can use this thing along with ableton as a looper? any details?

  • @curtaineater do you see the lights@ around 1:11 this is imitating ableton's session view each vertical strip represents a channel or instrument and each horizontal line represents a section of music on that channel. The green buttons are clips that are playing and yellow/orange mean there's something there to play, if you press an unlit button on a channel it will stop playback on that channel. You do not need this to make loops in ableton because its ableton thats actually producing the loops.

  • @Adbmusicuk ah, okay. i think i understand. so at any point are you recording and looping what you're playing live? that is what i'm hoping to get set up. basically use ableton and this controller as a massive looping station for the instruments routed in to able through my firewire mixer.

  • @curtaineater yes this is possible its also what i'm hoping to do too and stumbled on this video trying to find inspiration. For the money and it also comes with a version of ableton you can't go wrong. you can also switch to different modes on the launchpad and use it to play midi notes so can use it with synth's or as a drum machine.

  • there are ways to set ableton so it will record a 2 bar/ 4 bar loop or what ever you want really. The launch pad makes the whole thing easier to navigate though. There is a video of kid beyond on here and he actually takes you through his setup, he uses a foot pedal to tell ableton to record a new loop on a new channel so he builds up a track that way! I hope this helps! Very nice video too!

  • nice piano sound.

  • @djruinerdotcom thank you!

  • @beatnik8tv I made it ;)

  • Hi where did you get that table stand from and how much is it?

  • i really like when you get the piano goin right... love that melody

  • one of the many fun surprises when recording live midi on the fly

  • mxxx

  • i think your loop might be off by a beat, But awesome Piano skills man!!

  • @MrSunnyDJay

    your right........................

  • thank you!

  • hey man this song is amazing this needs to be on itunes man i love this :D

  • dope bro

  • Thats a big fucking keyboard

  • @davidveltri101 Indeed, M-Audio Keystation Pro 88.

  • @davidveltri101 its a keystation pro 88

  • You Got My Subcription

  • Wicked, love this.

  • I would give 10 of my fingers to play as beautifully as you do.

    Great Job!

  • Illy bro

  • such a great work! very nice tune and arrangement...

  • wtf you start playing piano cool song but when you stop touching it he continu to play or its fake your video sorry :S

  • @stepame321 its called looping.

  • @stepame321 he saves the melody on his launch pad >.<

  • That was a pretty good set. You play the keyboards really good. Alot better than me.

But I have to always remind my self that the launch pad and the iPhone are not instuments, but editing & programming tools for making music thats all, and not

instruments. I would have been more impressed if you only had the laptop and your keyboards only, doing the same thing, than I would of asked,"How do He do that",WOW. Good jam though, thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!

  • piano rules man

  • your music is absolutely beautiful. live performance worthy!

  • You play awesome, but try it without the drums and the second sint sound (start 3:30) please, let the great perfomance piano flow.

    I must learn the piano.

    Cheers

  • great performance...

  • I can't think of much to say other than 'beautiful'.

  • This is brilliant. Wonderful work.

  • simply beuatyfull!!!!!!!

  • we kann download??? My Email: geliysolaga@mail.ru thanks!

  • THIS WAS AWESOME!!!

  • woooow the best pc piano i have ever heard it....can you say me please which piano you used and where i can get this ??

    piano no.1

  • Really love how this sounds. You've got some amazing skills. I'm just beginning to get into digital music production (been playing bass for about 5 years) but discovered my passion is producing this way. You're inspiring. Hope to upload some of my own in the future....Until then ....Keep up the good work.

    The.0bserver

  • Love the Piano sound!

  • Great track, and I really like your setup.

What kind of keyboard rack are you using? I'm looking to get a 2-3 tier rack that can accommodate a laptop, control surface and an iPhone.

  • sick, how did you get it to repeat what you plaied? that was awesome

  • very nice man , keep playin'

  • i haven't had midi problems yet with the controller.

the ipod was running touchosc with osculator as a midi/osc bridge. check out hexler.net for pc info. latency usually not an issue unless there's a lot going on.

  • @mazaibuzai latency is user issue, solved with better hardware

  • @TheDJTyler doesn't that make it a hardward issue then?

  • @mazaibuzai That's right you got it bud.

  • @mazaibuzai should check out the upcoming TouchAble app, looks like it can beat TouchOsc big time

  • @onnolab it looks pretty dope! touchosc is still cool for custom stuff and external synth control ^^

  • MAZAIBIZAI - does you keystation pro 88 ever just stop sending midi mid-session? lemme know.

  • nice song dude!!

  • are you working over osc? how can that be done with a pc? and also how did you work around any latency problem

  • I actually thought this was fantastic. Strong and inspiring musicianship

  • Nice piano and nice-build up for the song. Considering that u looped piano and other stuff live without using a hands-free pedal, the parts are sounding all right.

  • yeah the looping's whatever in this video. just kinda playin around with things. thanks for checking it out and for the honest feedback.

the controller's an old keystation pro, does the job fine although probably gonna shop for a new one soon. I'd get an sl mk2 for sure. I think it's the best in terms of straight up midi control, features, and build quality.

if you've got cash for the ipad i mean you get a much bigger screen. otherwise the ipod does the job. use both if u can!

  • @mazaibuzai id suggest checking the lemur out before you spend to much money on any other gear. I pad is all great and wonderful but if you read about the lemur and the ability to use all 10 fingers really blows it away.

if you really want to get into making music hit me up to colaborate, buying my lemur soon actually.

  • @TheDJTyler i agree the lemur blows everything else away. i've obsessed over em for a couple years. it's been at the top of my list, along with the moog voyager, lil phatty, and the roland v-piano ^^ at the end of the day gotta work with what you've got. what kind of music do you make?

  • @mazaibuzai digitial music, more into production, but i enjoy producing 128bpm, electro, retro house, all the way to progressive trippyish music.

Although i have produced some really different stuff, i just simply enjoy MUSIC

  • @mazaibuzai I just got my lemur :D I am at a point where I will make any kind of music just as long as it isn't country. I'm down for whatever atm. Any ideas?

  • the piano at the start was nice at times . but bad looping and to many things made it off beat in the mid . but overall still coo . 6:30 to the end nice again !

Is that a KeyStation Pro ? Sick , could u do a video on how all the knobs work with midi ?

Would u buy a Keystation Pro in 2010 or rather have a Axiom Pro or SL MK2 ?

    .

    IPad Vs Ipod Touch ???

which is best with Touch osc and auto map ?
