A lot of people confuse the second half of the Destiny tour with the Triumph tour. Everything is totally different from the stage, lights, outfits, even Michael hair was different.

No, I seriously doubt it was the Superdome. You can find Destony tour info online that will give you the venue, it was a small arena, or smaller than than Superdome, probably a 10,000 to 16,000 seater

@1980Triumph Yeah, I just looked it up, it was at the Municipal Auditorium, now you know this had o be before MJ was " Michael Jackson", because you know he wouldn't have been anywhere else but The Superdome after his Thriller Era. Can't believe he was here, I also heard that he attended The World Fair when it was here in New Orleans.

Is that Jackie in the middle, wearing green? I can't really see his face. Is it just me or does MJ look taller than Jackie here? I've been wondering about MJ's height for quite some time now, the autopsy says 5'9", others have collaborated this while others say differently, that he was taller.

@nenabunena: Michael was 5' 11". But people do shrink as they age as the bones wear down. Jackie is slightly shorter than Jermaine who's the tallest of all. I estimate Jermaine at 6'1" or maybe even 6'2". Jackie looks about 6' even. Michael's just under him at no lower than 5' 10". I say 5' 11". Marlon's shorter at 5' 8" or maybe 5' 9". Tito looks about 5' 9" or 5' 10" at best to stretch. Randy maybe between 5' 8" to 5' 10".

@johnlucas1 Yes they do but Michael was 50, not 70 or 80. At the most, Id imagine half an inch shorter than his original height. Im just confused about this entire thing, like you I believed MJ was 5'11". The 1 that has been a big supporter of that ideal is MJ's critic Howard Stern. Thats a tall guy, 6'4-5" & he though MJ was 6'2". Now MJ could look 6'2" to Stern if he was 5'11" & had worn his boots w/ 2 inched heels on making him 6'1". But at 5'9", no way could he have Stern thinking otherwise

@nenabunena Well, he did have lupus, which causes bone loss, but I don't know to what extent. Plus, he slouched a lot, which is what shy people tend to do. Mug shot said 5'11" autopsy said 5'9".... I'd say about 5'10" during his 20's.

@80scouplerules His Lupus wasn't very serious though, he had Discoid & I don't think if he ever had bone loss, it would be that severe. As for slouching well I'm basing it on the autopsy where he would be lying flat, no slouching involved & he was 5'9". The mugshot may have been taken w. his shoes on & more likely had a 2inchd heel that made him 5'11". Like you I believed he was 5'11" as well, what confuses me is Stern's comment Babyface who's 5'9" himself said MJ was taller than him.
