My TV is a 19" RCA XL-100 Mural TV from 1981. If you could just make an adapter to turn any TV into a 3d one, I'd buy it.

I just want to get the PN50C490 since it's the cheapest at under $1000.00. It may be only 720p, but I already wear glasses so it's kinds of difficult for me to see the difference between 1080p and 720p on a 50" anyway.

Anyone got the PN50c490? lemme know if it's good enough for my living room or just for the master bedroom.

cheating ourselves if we dont see something in 3d puleeeeze, yeah sure. And that fact that its almost double the cost of a cinema ticket to experience the novelty of 3d, its all about money at the end of the day. a 3d tv is going to set you back over a grand and then theres the new hdmi cable youre going to have to buy to cope with the bandwidth and all the extra shit you will need before you can even sit down and watch it. Its just a novelty at the moment

I'm thinking of OLED displays that reflect back to stereoscopic mirrors that reflect back to lenses right infront of your eyes. Compact cellphones you wear as your hats will eventually replayce our handsets of today.

I checked out the 3D TV which requires the use of 3D glasses powered by lithium built-in batteries. I thought it was cool, but we should all probably wait until there is enough tv programming and for the price to come down, to make it worth our while. Only some movies and games are using the 3D features. The rest of the time you are just watching normal HDTV. I personally want hologram tv...waiting for the day.

@jakeroot2 Ok let's say fashionable Hat that supports clear OLED display away from your eyes like 6-8 inches. Of course as technology gets better these gets to be 3D stereoscopic gets closer and closer eventually becoming a pair of shades. :)
