@ERAN1243 That's great! It really just goes to show that there's never only one way to build something with LEGO, and it's all about trial and error. =)
Can u build another one and make a tutorial? Cause I really like this and I really think i'll impress my family if I make one (: plus I will give you credit for it PLEASE..
Awesome video, everything seems pretty straightforward to me. I'm going to try this sometime, and if I get it working I'll put up a video. I'll just have to go find my Legos first...
@m0507529 oh... the important thing about the crankshaft is that the center of the shaft must not be allowed to move up and down. Hence you must find a shaft that has an odd number of holes (i think all lego shafts have odd numbers), find the exact center and find a way to only allow it to move side to side.
@soulreaper5678 Oh! A tutorial! Gosh that would be a toughy... Cuz even I probably would forget where each piece went if I took it apart... But I guess if you built something along the same lines with the same mechanisms it would work even if it looks slightly different. =)
do you know how many pieces did you use? I'm trying to make one for my project.

is it ok? if i put only one wheel in each side?
jpmorganrocks 2 months ago
@jpmorganrocks You could try. It is all about trial and error after all. But it should still work.
LOVERofNEZ 2 months ago
You could use a pulley instead of the long arm at the back.
but still,this machine is awesome.

m0507529 1 year ago
@m0507529 hmm I'm afraid I really don't have the time to create a tutorial for this, but what I can do is answer your questions here...
I'm assuming you've watched the whole video. What was it that you tried that didn't work? Maybe I can offer you a solution. =)

@LOVERofNEZ the crankshaft that cranks both

@LOVERofNEZ Or you could get a shaft with an even number of holes and have one hanging over one end, it wouldn't hurt.
Brilliant machine, love the shaft idea, well done!
