The program in this case is most likely LightWave Version9 and its about $600 some dollars and an educational version for students is a little over $200

In addition it uses a CellShader plugin like unReal Xtreme2 and an after effect plugin such as AfterEffects 6.5

It may be possible to find a cracked version but that is illegal...

You need to make the model and the movements, it isn't the easiest thing to do...

Yuri Lowenthal does a good wimpy boy voice, it fits Mitsuru very well. Watch Girls Bravo and you'll see my point. As for Ryou, I'm thinking Steven Blum.

I can see a girl doing Mitsuuru's voice, since he's a shota character. Not so much of a girly voice though, but sort of an original Kunikida-type voice.

Yuri Lowenthal can also do a pretty good so-called "nice guy" voice. (Code Geass) I can see Ryou with his voice. Steven Blum might be just a little bit too deep for him. I know he's a teenage boy, but I don't think he can do the kind of voice you'd expect from Ryou.

Mela Lee for CCP sounds good, though. :]

From what I've heard from Naruto, Maile's voice is kind of scratchy, and wouldn't sound good with Mitsuuru, in my opinion. I was originally thinking something along the lines of Kimberly Grant (Momiji from Fruits Basket), but that'd be too girly. Did Maile do any other voice acting jobs?

Think of it as an alternate universe to the main series. The genderswapped characters aren't replacing the regular characters, they're just sort of added on. I've seen fan art of Kyon and Kyonko together, for instance.

Shit genderbends are pretty much switching of genders but retaining the personalities despite the transformation. Like Ranma 1/2. Of course nothing to do with the creators input but its pretty obvious even though its a fan creation. And sometimes genderbends make stuff better now, such as this.
