I have a Pre Plus and love it for the most part, but it is missing a few basic features that other smartphones (and regular phones) have such as Adobe Flash, Voice Dialing and some advanced Bluetooth features. Hopefully WebOS 2.0 will fix that if Verizon et al. ever get around to releasing it.

The virtual keyboard is dumb 'cause the screen is to small to have one, webOS is really great for the multitasking but laggs often. And the updates, haha its been like 6 months since I didnt had an updates! And the camera sucks, and it has no zoom.

I wish there were more apps and to be honest I use my ipod touch more but dident want to tak the full blow and go to at&t. But when it comes to simple stuff the palm pre always works and the OS works great. You won't be unhappy if you get it ;o)

received the Palm pre as part of an upgrade. Mobile hotspot is free. Also, did not know alot about smartphones until I received my palm. I was initially disappointed when comparing to the droids and Iphones my colleagues had, but over time, I realized for business the phone is very very good. If i wanted a phone as a toy i would obviously go with the droid x or Iphone4 but the webos platform is second to none in multitasking and speed.

this guy is clearly bias towards the iphone. the pre is nice. all phones have great things or bad things...THE iphone is a great phone also. i cant lie about that. it just all depends on what you want as a phone and what fits you. i personally like a key board. if he really went 2 weeks with the pre he would have known that he dident need to open the launcher for the memos, u can just type in memos in the homescreen and it pops up and u cliq it. that is one of the advantages for the pre's keyboard. FYI i have a homebrew touchscreen keyboard for my pre.

They don't the same amount of RAM. The Palm Pre Plus has 512 MBs, where the iPhone has 256 MBs. That's double, yo'. I do prefer the iPhone as well. But I do use MultiTasking like the Palm Pre (Jailbroke of course). It's quite BOSS.
