FYI for you people talking about making a horse calm,

You can desensitize a horse to certain things to diminish the amount of spooking a horse does, but in the end it all goes back to your horses personality. Some horses will never be completely calm

Well done! Sometimes I wished I had a calm horse and not one, that would rather run a whole day than stand a whole day xD (but then thinking of it... no i would not be happy with such horse xD)

he wasn't sitting anywhere near his kidneys. + thats an old wives tale anyway. Horses kidneys are located under deep layers of muscle and sitting there does not damage their kidneys. It CAN damage the sacral vertibrae though which is why you arn't meant to sit there.

Anyway, great riding. You don't look too big for the horse. If you were heavy that would be another matter but it looks like your boy moves very easy with you. Nice safe horses are worth thir weight in gold.

Epically awesome! but maybe take a look at how big you are compared to your horse? unless hes really strong you seem like you might be a wee bit too heavy for him.

And I always reccomend a helmet but hey, its your brain.

Quarter Horse of course!! LoL all of our horses are broke to this temperament and are just fun to ride. riding these horses isn't work at all no matter what your doing including cattle work dry work and roping
