A big thank you for all of these posts. The older ASWT series were very well written and acted. I too have watched as the world turns since the 60s, when the original cast members roles diminished, I was very unhappy. Emily is not Lisa (smile). Lisa in her day were the queen of day soaps. Remember, the show Search For Tomorrow?
If Bob and Lisa were characters on UK soaps like Eastenders or Coronation Street, they would be honoured by the writing and given the mass attention by the public that they deserve! Major kudos to Hastings and Fulton for surviving the decaying genre of soap opera in America with the utmost integrity, wit, class and imagination.
Bob and Lisa-47 years, Nancy-51 years, Kim-35 years. You would think they could include them in more episodes. I'm sure there are plenty of fans that have watched since day 1. Not everyone is looking for youngsters. There is enough history and footage from years ago to keep old and new viewers connected.
I have not seen Lisa ONCE on the New Episodes of ATWT... Now Bob having a stroke, ALl The veterns on ATWT are very rarley used and I think it is a waste... They have such good characters like Bob & Kim, Lisa, Lucinda & Margo & Tom. They use Barbara alot and now Emma Snyer is on almost every day, which is a good start..
Bob and Lisa have a lot of history on ATWT. Tom is their son and I think they have other children together too. However, Bob has always loved Kim more than Lisa. But they both have been on ATWT since 1960, there are 2 actors well dedicated to their work!

Actually Tom is their only child together, but they definitely had more kids with other people.

I remember when this episode first aired, it was such a nice surprise. There should be more Lisa on the show now.
