Please tell me that this man is in jail for a very long time! 25+yrs because when you shoot an officer off or on duty you get a stiffer sentence than killing a regular civilian. So when an officer attacks an innocent civilian he should be held even more accountable than regular civilian. Because he is supposed to uphold the law and enforce it. So he is breaking the law knowingly and with full intention to do so. I hope the woman files suit against that department to teach them a lesson.

There are plenty of articles from legitimate, trustworthy news sources (i.e. large readership and not being FOX news) which describe the situation there.
