  • Now dis iz wat I called Eastern POP Hardcore men

  • new ringtone!

  • MOTHER RUSSIA!!

  • In Soviet Russia, 1991 looks like 1981.

  • Putin plays this song on repeat in his bathroom.

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh yea.

  • the lyrics are quite clear in comparison to other versions of the USSR's national anthem.

  • I love this video and find it very moving how much the artists are into what they sing and how much they feel it. I can't stop watching it. The ideals of the country are good. It's too bad that it did not work out.

  • lo PEOR que le ha pasado al comunismo fue la URSS. por culpa de ellos todos los comunistas quedaron con la imagen de la postura de Stalin

  • In Soviet Russia, The anthem is proud of its people!!!

  • Socialism is correction to Capitalism... It supposed to be better than Capitalism, but in practical Soviet leaders looks more totalitarian than socialist

  • But how did this happen?? all my life i had been told that in USSR there was no modern music.. just marches and classical stuff... they'd told me there were no modern art in USSR.. only people chained working people...FUCK CAPITALIST BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA, LONG LIVE COMMUNISM IDEALS AND THE FIRST STATE WHO DARE TO TRY TO PUT THEM IN PRACTICE... USSR!!!

  • Communism doesn't work.

    Pass it on.

  • @ariaroadlan how do you know that if it has never being achieved??

  • Any chance a breakdown of who the various musicians in this video are could be provided? Thanks either way.

  • This is the most patriotic I've ever seen an anthem sung, you can really tell that the people were proud of their country. Ever such a good video, thank you.

  • chubby man in uniform rullz!!!

  • @Ferrim Thank you, you are quite right, it's been a while since i took Russian.

  • Putin will bring back the mighty USSR!

  • @ComradeNico i hope so,maybe USA will stop bullying other small countries, and the world will be less boring with a cold war,me insane?nah, they may compete in nuclear weapons, but no one will ever launch one....or at least i hope so...anyway,SLAVA CCCP!

  • RUSSIA STRONG

  • I like this version of the Hymn of the Soviet Union. I like the original one as well, but this one shows that the Soviet Union wasn't a whole bunch of oppressed people living in poverty like most Westerners think. In some ways, it's like the US. Well, was.

  • Communism = good

    Video = good

    Freedom = misunderstood

CCCP > USA > Russian Federation

  • @ClaudeFrollon nice comment, but remember CCCP is Cyrillic for the Russian equivalent of the USSR acronym. so CCCP would be pronounced (Ceh-ceh-ceh-peh) or something like that.

  • @tecnobrains More like Es-Es-Es-Er.

  • Interesting! The lyrics are from the 1944 version (Мы армию нашу растили в сраженьях), and not the 1977 one!

  • Ahh, the USSR. A proud nation. Complete with Zangief and a pop version of their anthem. How more awesome can a nation get? The answer: impossible! The USSR is best. Kickass!

  • None of the Soviet leaders were Communists. They were totalitarians. They called themselves Communists for the sake of appearances, not much else.

  • @Stritchers Pretty much

  • @Stritchers get lost you idiot

  • @Stritchers

Some were to a given extent.

  • @Stritchers well Gorbachev Is not totalitarian he's Glastnost

  • omg.big shit.

  • Is this video a parody or a genuinelly patriotic goodbye?

  • Hell, however horrible the government was to the people, Russians still loved Russia and this song, however flowery it is about Communism, was written to celebrate imminent victory over the Nazis who had planned on genocide for the Russian people. So it is a patriotic song, not necessarily a good bye.

  • whats the name of the singer at 1:51

  • soviet leadership was more power hungry than any of their western counterparts, it wasnt communism not even close, it was more akin to the fascist states the supposedly opposed

  • Gorbachevs fatal mistake: Political Openness. This let the American Empire destroy it with propaganda and infiltration of capitalist ideals. Head he only done Economic Reform, which was sorely needed, then the USSR would still be here.

  • The Soviet Union will rise again! Long live Communism!

  • The was just after the end of the USSR. Everyone there, savea few crusty old commie diehards, was very happy about this.

This is a farewell to a system that failed miserably. It gave unchecked power to individual dictators like Lenin, Stalin, Khruschev, and Brezhnev. It brutally executed more than 20 million Soviet people. Worst of all, it deprived the surviving majority of freedom, dignity, and a decent living standard.

This video was made just after its end, as an ironic elegy.

  • this was after the fall of communism right?

  • I think it was right before, 1991 and it fell near Christmas, so they wouldn't have much time.

But to be fair , Communism really fell when the dip shit IE: Gorbachev got into power. The last real Communist was Leonid Brezhnev

  • Brezhnev was't much of a Communist,if at all,his actions with Czechoslovakia reflect that.

  • The last real communist was Stalin. Khrushchev's 'reforms' began the stagnation of the USSR and paved the way for other dismantlers of socialism. If not for them, the USSR, PCR and NK could have acted as one block as they did in the Korean War.

  • @TheNomadicMonad the last real communists were the Kronstadt sailors. get real Stalin was totalitarian dictator in the best big brother fashion. the whole system was corrupt, Khrushchev tried to fix the system best he could. read history and stop saying rubbish.

  • Wow I love this!

  • outstanding

    Urra. urra.urra.

  • thats a big bear

  • I think that bear was on the closing ceremony of the Olympics in Russia. They brought it out,and let it go into the sky.

  • Da, da, da, da...byla i praslo:DDD its fact:)

  • I admire the great patriotism of the Russian people! WOOT RUSSIA.

  • That guy on 1:02 are gays really? they're cool xD!

  • Hey people ! I just can't believe that Russia is attacking Georgia ! Even Jospeh Stalin was born in Georgia !

  • What? Georgia provoked the Russians by killing their citizens. Really, it's Russia responding to Georgian aggression.

  • Thank you Blarg !

  • Exactly. The South Ossetians were a minority in Georgia. They wanted independence, so Georgian troops began to murder them. The Georgian president is an American puppet.

  • Who is the girls singing at1:20?

  • On the right is Zhanna Aguzarova, of course.

Can't remember who is on the left.

  • The girl with black hair?

  • The girl with black hair is on the right.

  • She looks different today. :S Search her in google, you will see.

  • OK. The right answer is

with black hair: Raisa Saed-Shah (Раиса Саед-Шах)

with bright hair: E. Semenova (Е.Семенова)

  • Ok. Do you know where is she from? CCCP was huge.

    Thanks!

  • Who do you mean?

  • Raisa.

  • She looks very different,i looked her up...

    USSR SHALL REVIVE AGAIN

THROUGH THE NEW REPUBLIC OF VISAYAS!!!

    MABUHAY REBOLUSYON!!!

  • Klassno! Nostalgija po CCCP!

  • xopowo !!!!

  • lenin!

  • TITO (1892-1980) was a great leader. Very smart, wise man who made many good decions. First, he won over Hitler, later over Stalin.

How many other leaders of communistic world defied Stalin and died of natural death? Only one, Tito did.

In sum, he was much much smarter that current embarassement we have as president in USA today.

  • Yup... I agree with you in many aspects... I don't think it bpropsered just as equally good under Tito as under the EU. TO me, Slovenia is the heart and soul of the Yugoslavs, and I am not a nationalist in any waqy; I DESPISE nationalists for their intolerance and hatred.

  • I think it prospered just as well under Tito as under the EU...

Think about it, if ir were not for Milosevic, Tudman, Izetbegovic, and other hate-mongering leaders, Yugoslavia would be the first Slavic country to join the EC/EU in 1990-91.

  • It would be great that us, Slavs, would be a little less emotional, and a little more rational.

Before, people of Europe were divided based on emotions, today more on rational part of our personality.

Even marriage based only on chemistry fails. It has to be both, emotion and ratio.

  • Look at Slovenia now. Under Yugosalvia Slovenes as hardest working people of Socialist Federative Rubiblif of Yugoslavia were milked and exploited economically.

Now, Slovenia is a prosperous developed country with the highest per capita income of all new EU members. Also, Slovenia will preside the EU in first half of next year.

USSR and Yugoslavia were not the best solutions.

  • Bullshit! Slovenia was the most prosperous province of Yugoslavia! iN FACT, the entire country prospered under Tito!

  • Yes, Slovenia was most prosperous of Yugoslavia and prospered under Tito, but even more under EU.

The GPD per capita tripled in last 15 years in Slovenia.

Slovenians are the cream of Slavic world, at least in economy. As are Russians in culture and military.

LONG LIVE GREAT FAMILY OF SLAVS.

  • ...leve partiet.....leve sovietunionen....!!!!

  • Military of Soviet Union Motto "Simple,Reliable and Effective" even all there Military Equipment are ugly than the U.S. still it's more powerful than the west

  • Scary but good like other remixs of dis anrthem. Ztarz

  • Communisim = bad

    This Video = awsome

The Russian/USSR National Anthem = awsome

  • Agree... Communism was retarded and the Soviet government was for the most part a brutal dictatorship. But I'll take the Soviet anthem over just about any other nation's anthem that I've ever heard. It just rocks.

  • @Murple333 how can a political sytem be retarded....

bether a dictator(im not an stalinist)

then an capitalist boss that use me as slave for a little bit of money

  • @IrishNut True! The Bulgarian Anthem is also quite good. My second fave.

  • @IrishNut fucking rasist

    you: fucker

    your mother fucked

    communism: cool

    this vid coollll

  • @alex123705 There is nothing racist about what I said. You're just a troll who swears a lot and doesn't understand the mechanics of greed and malice behind Communism. Good work. I love this video and I love this song. Get off it.

  • @IrishNut communism isnt retarded, its the leaders who were

  • @IrishNut CAPITALISM GOOD HURR DURR! USA! USA! USA! KILL ALL ARABS!

    Yeah i was sarcastic.

  • dedicated to Natalia Podolskaya

  • long live Soviet Union, Marxism-Leninism

long live Communist Party of Turkey

  • Long live Yugoslavia and Marshall Tito (1892-1980).

Kemal Ataturk made love to Elke Sommer who wa 40 years younger. He made her very happy. Like Tito, Ataturk was also a good lover, a father of the nation #1.

  • No sorry, it was not Elke Sommer, but Zha Zha Gabor. Ataturk made her very happy, he was able to satisfy 36 year younger woman before Viagra was invented.

LONG LIVE ATATURK, THE LOVER #1 IF TURKEY.

  • loving the hair doos. WORKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE!

  • This is the russian Pride.

  • the Way I see it, it is better to have 1 country experiencing democracy rather than 7-15 CIS countries falling to dictatorships that are worse than Stalin's.

  • The collapse of the UUSR is definitely the greatest tragedy since John Lennon!!!

  • This is the worst USSR hymn I've heard.

  • Your right free interprize is the only way to go, A single dictatorship controls and does not encourge. It allows people to bring foward new ideas. Communist like to bind up and control for themselves like Stalin did after WW2. He had millions killed and thrown in prison because people tried to express thier own beliefs, he was afraid of loosing his power.

  • argh!they have ruined the soviet national anthem! they made it int to some stupid cheesy piece of crap that reminds me of open house. are!

  • all you have to look at is 100 years ago then russia was as poor as brazil and other latin american countries and look at them now the former soviet states have a higher standard of living the all of latin america

  • May it rise again! But for humanity and FREEDOM

  • Freedom... yeah right!

  • Well the world would be better if the Soviet Union still existed, not communism. A free multiparty Soviet Union. 73% of people voted to keep it together in a democratic form, but Yeltsin and other regional leaders tore the country apart anyway to get more power themselves. Now instead of 1 nation that could've been experimenting with democracy and open markets, we've got balkanized squabbling countries which are rapidly sliding back into dictatorship.

  • Well thats true what we see in Iraq... Sunni Arabs, Shiite Arabs and Kurds breaking Iraq apart

  • I'd definitely agree!

For a very long time, ethnic differences in the Soviet Union have been discouraged and dropped to a mere minimum because of mixed intermarriages and a common language (with other vernacular languages allowed to be published in the country). If the Soviet Union survived with the Party voted out of office, which I believe it would happen if it wasn't for Yeltsin and 14 others who encouraged racism and ethnic violence.

  • Wait how the EU will develop in a few decades. Sooner or later Russia will join, the EU is allready working on a common constitution and a single EU army, we allready have a common free market and a single currency. I say the EU is the democratice Soviet Union of the future. and I mean that in a good way.

  • It would, there is just one catch:

the Soviet Union IS/WAS a country, the EU is NOT a Country, but an IGO. Other than that, it stands close to it.

  • In any ways, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, Andropov and Chernenko WOULD've loved it if they were still alive.

  • The USSR, like its rival, was guilty of many things, but its loss, along with Yugoslavia's are considered the greatest tragedies since John Lennon!!! The USSR showed great potential in being a democracy in the late 80s onwards... In my opinion, it would've been much better to have one large country under democracy rather than smaller 10 CIS countries that are balkanised and falling to bossy governments

  • Not really, (I am Lithuanian and look at my country now we are in the EU and have a strong and fairly successfull country

  • That was a reply to DNLARS145

  • @Murple333 perhaps the idea of an open or "free market" is stupid and always leads to perverted democracy, which is what Marx originally laid out! haha

  • Congratulations conrade.

    very good

  • Well Communism is dead... its a thing of the past

  • Tell that to the people in Cuba and North Korea who are still stuck with it, not to mention the people in Vietnam and Laos who have a somewhat relaxed version of communism still, and the hundreds of millions of people in China which is still nominally a communist state even if in practice its just a totalitarian market state now. Venezuela is heading that direction, and the old Sandinista leader just got re-elected in Nicaragua. Communism's still limping around and probably will be for a while.

  • Well What I meant was that its not as powerful as it use to be, for instance in 1980 it was recorded that 1/3 of every nation on earth was communist. You gotta admit both Communism and Capitalism have their pro's and con's... for instance I hate it when there are so many mobile phone companies and your credit is charged more when you phone a number which is using a different company as yours. Why cant we all go under one company

  • That's the nature of the beast. Competition brings out the best of people and companies. That's how businesses grow and evolve. If there was one big coporation that owned everything, business would stagnate and falter.

  • Your a devoted Communist, Trotsky would be proud of you

  • I ain't no Communist. I'm tellin' it like it is.

  • @Murple333 there are different types of socialism, not all are like China or the Soviet Union.

  • the soviet union may have collapsed, but the hearts of us soviets will forever endure!

  • Great stuff...this is Socialism close at peoples' hearts?

  • Well , great song anyway. I think that it's not a parody. By the way , were did you get it from?

  • I just speak a smattering of Russian, but enough to see that they are just singing the lyrics of the 1944 and 1977 anthems.

It was said that it was a parody, but if it was, then I'm just missing the point. The lyrics are the original ones, and they show peasants and workers, which was what the Soviet Union was about after all... they show the achievements in space, and even Misha, the mascot of the 1980 Olympics...

Rather than a parody, I think it's just a different way to sing it.

  • Perhaps there was some political reason for labelling it as a parody? I don't know anything more about the origin of this than whats in the description. Ive looked online and if there is any more info about it, its not in English.
