  • Nice Video...

  • you really know how to live! congratulations!

  • Club to death and season your dinner at the same time. Damn sailors are clever.

  • Awesome video. If you know anyone sailing from the US to the eastern hemisphere, please let me know. Looking to join a crew to get overseas in an adventurous way and travel the world.

  • EPPPICCCCC

  • @thegamejew:

I am looking to do this after I build my 37 foot boat.

  • 1:40 !!!!!

OH!!! MY FAV boat,to the left. Either a Pershing or Azimut

  • Impressive! Thanks for sharing.

  • wow, nice boat and great video! who's Nicola? (woman shown in beginning of video)

  • is that peppermill a phallic symbol or what

  • fake. you must be really stupid not wearing a lifejacket when you see a thundercloud like that crossing the ocean. Crossing the ocean is serious work and needs to be taken with respect.

  • @roeland32 STFU

  • cool video, nice boat!

  • Good choice of girlfriend.

  • That's one big boat. What does this guy do for a living?!

  • Thanks for posting. Very nice.

  • The music is just not annoying enough.

  • @CHOADspewer I love the music. What wrong with it?

  • not worth watching.

  • I am about to sail from Bermuda to the Azores. Thank you for this. WOW I can't wait.

  • I been land locked for my entire 35 years and have yet to set a foot in saltwater. I saw it once in New York City on a tour. Its my dream to one day learn to sail and I would like to sail to French Polynesia and places of the like. Until then I remain hopeful in PA

  • Thanks so much for sharing the ride with us!

  • What happens if you're in the middle of the ocean, and you have no food or fishing rod?

  • its very unlikeley that that happens, becaos if you are going for a long trip you certainly know that you need plenty food, the wors thing that could happen is that the sail brakes and the motor stops working.

  • @lunarossa94 Oh man stuff that shit it looks scary enough just being put there, that would be a nightmare in the middle of the atlantic what would you do then if the sail broke or the motor stopped working?

  • @GriikGriikO

Then you make sure it doesn't happen again. That is, if you didn't starve.

  • THIS is living life! Congrats to you!

  • Un de mes reves.... bravo

  • this is simply awesome. I really hope i can get a craw position next year an sail to europe.

  • ooooooooooo......

  • i have a 50 foot catamaran and im planning on taking the same trip next year with my dobe and wife. it must feel amazing conquering the world. congrats!

  • me and my colleage tried to set a world record for sailing the atlantic but we had to call for help because their was a leak under the boat and we couldent fix it

  • try again

  • i love that feeling i get when i watch the last piece of land fall behind the horizon. =D

  • Well well. That looks like a certain Trevor that has his own school in Weymouth is it not?

  • That looks amazing!!! 18 days? So cool. I'm in the process of buying my own and want to do the same journey, not in a 71' but a 42'. Hope I can make it! cheers.

  • Nice video, a great experience! I can totally relate to what you say about the 'size of our planet'. Beautiful boat you have there btw.

I crossed the atlantic twice, during a 9 month sailing trip with my father. Best experience of my life!

(if you like, check out my video called 'Atlantic crossing in 3 minutes').

All I can say is: keep on sailing! I'm planning my next big trip after I'm graduating from university... I just can't wait!

  • how did you avoid storms? were you sailing down wind most of the way??

  • Need video! Great Boat. Looked like a fun crew.

  • I don't think I could take 18 days out at sea. 5 days would be cool, but not 18.

  • why you being so hateful?

  • @pf91rodman What do you mean hateful? Who?

  • @LFiers

    His/her comment was probably removed
