I'm personally not a huge fan of Washington; I tend to stick with Paine and most of the Republicans plus some of Adams and Henry, but that's just re-living political feuds from the 1790s and the early 1800s. I'm definitely with you on electing people to give them qualifications, and I'm not opposed to Caroline Kennedy in the Senate, but I think imagining her in the presidency is a bit premature.
