  • only in America... My god how people are stupid. Can't believe this really happened. Yeah Toyota's CEO did apologize for that because he knew perfectly well that if he didn't he would lose too much of his huge share of the cake. But in his heart the guy was hurt. He's had to lie because of stupid people. This was nothing but a communication operation you crazy people. Get your damn carpet away from your gas pedal, if you're too old or retarded to do that, just put the damn car in neutral !!

  • なぜかこの後ソニーと続いていく

    いつものことだけどな

  • The 2nd place of the sales of Toyota are China.

How about already stopping the US and moving to others? Japanese company bashing is a U.S-basis and plan of US government.

Many countries want to the TOYOTA's factory. Profits will not come out in the US.

  • I WAS ALMOST KILLED IN MY TOYOTA '06 4 RUNNER ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS WITH MY TWO YEAR OLD IN THE BACK! NEVER EVER EVER WILL I BUY ANOTHER TOYOTA!! THIS WAS BEFORE ALL THIS CRAP WAS IN THE MEDIA...THEY TOLD ME IT WAS MY FLOOR MATS!! TO BAD MY ATTORNEYS PROVED OTHERWISE. I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED FROM AROUND THE GLOBE FROM LAWYERS THAT HAVE CASES AGAINST TOYOTA. THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM....WAIT UNTIL THESE CARS GET HIGER MILES AND ARE KILLING NOT ONLY THE PEOPLE DRIVING THEM BUT ALSO THE INNOCENT!

  • @888shelly888 - so why aren't you dead yet?

  • I'm so glad I stuck wth Dodge.. may not be the best quality but at least I am safe!

  • @Ragrog105 Toyota didn't hide their face in these recalls, in fact the President of the Company himself made apologetic appearances via media, congress, and international speeches.

  • @falconx1 You are 100% correct., Akio Toyoda, the president and CEO of Toyota Motor Corporation, did in fact, get up in front of a Congressional hearing, and indeed did apologize for lying and hiding the facts, which was systematically done, with his knowledge, over a period of many years.

  • You know what surprises me SOOOO much....why is it that we've only heard these MUCH recalls (which is also surprising since GMC and Chevorlet cars have more recalls made cumulitively in the past year) in the U.S. and other large countries such as England, Europe, Germany, and even China have not stated much focus on these so called recalls by Toyota...

  • @falconx1 What the big issue here is how Toyota lied and covered up the problem even after being presented with overwhelming evidence. And they did so for years. Ford, GM and Chrysler complained but never covered up their faults to the extent that Toyota did.

  • @Ragrog105 I'm not condoning that Toyota and other import cars are better than our domestic car here in the U.S. What I was more concerned about is that our media, here in the U.S., is utterly focused on Toyota recalls SO MUCH that the attention is now on Toyota and neglected to see the numbers of more recalls made by Ford, GM, and Chrysler.

  • @falconx1 I agree. All our media is controlled by 5 mega-corporations, who allow us to see only their biased narrow minded one-sided reporting. And if the media moguls get their way and do away with net neutrality, even that source will be gone. Thank got I have my short-wave radios. YouTube is a great example of corporate controlled censorship. It's nothing like what it was before Google bought it and flexed their overbearing heavy handed censorship muscles.

  • LIES LIES LIES, Obama lackeys making up BS the bring down the best selling car in the USA!!

  • @cjrush1009 Is that's so, why did Toyota admit they covered up the faults, and also admitted they lied to escape detection, over a span of many years? Toyota lied, How can this be Obama's fault. He didn't lie, TOYOTA DID. Explain that.

  • @Ragrog105 yeah, your right Obama never lies, what was I thinking?

  • @cjrush1009 Let's see, the last truthful President we had was ... uh... er.... um.... Certainly cant find a single one. They all lie. It's called politics. Besides that does that have with the Japs selling their crap in my country and taking the corporate profit back to their country?

  • @Ragrog105 a bit racist and and narrow, Toyota has factories here too, they employ a lot of people here.

  • @cjrush1009 Racist? Only if buying American products, made by Americans, keeping the corporate profit here is what you consider racist. Narrow, absolutely. I remember the 50's when Americans bought American products, made by Americans. Unemployment was under 3%. Now, try to find anything that we invented still being made here. I will never shop China*Mart, Target or anyplace that sell cheaply made products by children or slave prison labor. China's military is now modernized thanks to the U.S.A.

  • @Ragrog105 I think you are over simplifying the issue.

  • @cjrush1009 Maybe. Hey, I loved your video about Atheists. Anyone reading this should go check it out. cjrush1009 is right on about what he says.

  • I am not Japanese but ,,,

With the electronics problem its a fabricated fact. The GM and the other comapnay had bankrupt so they do`nt want the Toyota cars to be sold.

Eveyone do not be duped by the goverments plot!!!

  • TOYOTA = POOP!

  • they're cutting the gas peddle... thats how the problem is getting fixed. Are you f'ing kidding me?!!!!!

  • Check the numbers of recalled cars between Toyota and American cars. Which is more??? You can find out on the net. Sure what they have caused is responsible. No need to over-react. Do your bashing, more people will be layed off and be lost.

  • lol @ people saying that problems started to come up because the cars are being made in US. LOL!, big lol. Prius are made in Japan and are having lots of problems around all over the world. Stop blaming US companies, its Toyota's fault. Its easier to blame others instead of recognize our mistakes, uh?

  • @tenacioustaut: lol, keep believing on what Toyota says about its pseudo quality. Pray God it does neve happen to you! Maybe there're some lies about it, but its not a game, its real. Here in Brazil there're no recalls announced but there're lots of people that lost control of their Toyotas and other kind of problems. The problem is that Toyota made everyone believe that they were the best when they never were.

  • Toyota said a review of the findings by a Stanford University expert found no "real-world" evidence of an electronic flaw.

Chris Gerdes, a professor of mechanical engineering at Stanford, said that the researchers had essentially rewired the car's electronics to create the problem - something that could not happen in real life.

"We're confident in our electronic throttle control systems," a spokesman for Toyota said.

  • It was also pointed out that Toyota could have just as easily done exactly the same thing to sway the results their way. Also, their supposed repairs are having to be redone. Why? My guess is profit over safety, like first mentioned. As far as Toyota goes... EPIC FAIL!

FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL!

    I repeat...

FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL!

  • @Ragrog105

    Gilbert cheated lol

Gilberrt knew that the phenomenon happens to OTHER CARS but didnot mention it LOL

    God bless your stupidity LOL

  • It still doesn't change the fact that Toyota knew it had problems and either covered them up or lied about them, for OVER 6 YEARS. Like I said above, PROFIT OVER SAFETY. Why are their repairs not working? PROFIT OVER SAFETY.

How honorable of the Japs to strive for PROFIT OVER SAFETY.

Toyota: FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL!

  • @Ragrog105

    a "fact " lol

Keep on believing that it its a fact that GOD stopped her car LMAO

  • @Ragrog105

Keep in mind that the US police concluded that it was the WRONG FLOOR Mat that caused the Lexus accident after investigation LOL

keep on being a poor media victim

  • When will it end? From this morning's news, research it:

EL CAJON, Calif. A California Highway Patrol officer helped slow a runaway Toyota Prius from 94 mph to a safe stop on Monday after the car's accelerator became stuck on a San Diego County freeway, the CHP said.

Jap crap is killing people. They lie, people die.

  • Prius driver James Sikes called 911 about 1:30 p.m. after accelerating to pass another vehicle on Interstate 8 near La Posta and finding that he could not control his car, the CHP said.

"I pushed the gas pedal to pass a car and it did something kind of funny... it jumped and it just stuck there," the 61-year-old driver said at a news conference. "As it was going, I was trying the brakes...it wasn't stopping, it wasn't doing anything and it just kept speeding up,"

  • @Ragrog105

    LOL

    a dubious stroy

Keep on believing dubious stories and the Texas woman : GOd stopped her car LOL

  • @Ragrog105

Keep on believing that Dawrinism is WRONG and GOD sent humans to the Earth LMAO

  • @Ragrog105

CNN does not even mention the Lie of Gilbert ; but CNN mentions dubious stories ONLY without even trying to confirm the cause LMAO

You are a poor media target lol

  • Just for YOU, I've got another video posted called "Toyota - The Problem Continues". This should give you some happiness and still more chances to try to justify the Jap's crap.

I was bored til you came along, now I'm a happy camper. I actually do think you are sort of cool in a confused sort of way. Go fugure, hey?

  • @Ragrog105

they are NOT COMFIRMED at all LAMO

Keep on believing that GOd stopped her car LMAO

  • I did NOT stop her car, I wasn't even therre. Hehehe...

  • @Ragrog105

    LMAO

Where you there when those dubious SELFPRcolaimed accidents happened ?LMAO

You were NOT there, either; however, you believe their claims so Naiively

    God bless you LMAO

  • @Ragrog105

Dont believe those dubious stories so naiively.

    You were Not even there

  • @Ragrog105

    GIlbert lied about the problem

Stupid people like you believe Gilbert LMAO

    God bless you LMAO

  • "Every vehicle from other manufacturers tested by Exponent could be induced to respond with a sudden increase in engine speed and power output," Exponent said in a fact sheet. "These demonstrations in no way indicate a defect with any of the vehicles tested (including the Toyota Avalon and Camry)."

  • The system used on Toyota cars relies on two separate sensors connected to the gas pedal and another pair connected to the throttle valve itself. In order for the system to work, each sensor in a pair has to match. If they don't match in the proper way, an on-board computer immediately senses a problem and the engine power is reduced to idle or it's shut off altogether.

  • Gilbert said that he overrode that safety feature, allowing faulty pedal signals to go to the engine with no problem being detected by the car's on-board computer.

Exponent, the research firm hired by Toyota, was able to replicate Gilbert's results but says that the test presents an unrealistic situation that has virtually no chance of happening in the real world.

  • tenacioustaut show me one thing that says the fusion has the same problem...ford has the safest vehicles on the road...its about time the god damn japs got caught in their stupid little lies...people have died from them being money hogs...there is evidence that they laughed about the money they saved from not doing a big recall...fuck toyota, honda GM and chrysler!!! GM n Chrysler have our money and make terriable product..you want a real car...buy a FORD!!! your a dumb ignornat fool!!

  • Some Toyota owners say they're still having trouble with unintended acceleration after their recalled cars were repaired, and the Transportation Department said Wednesday it is looking into their complaints, oh my God...

  • how can car manufactory have 0% issue?

Look at Microsoft windows, it upgrades many times year by year.

Every country look at this big issue, they will very carefully to invest in USA.

Let US people "buy American", other countries do not do business with USA , it is not good news for them , but it is also not good news for USA. They got more benefit from doing business with other countries.

I do not trust USA. It is unfair game for other countries.

  • good news, toyota recall fix found. i posted a video.

  • Comment removed

  • has Toyota had court summons within the last week relating to the 30+ fatalities in the states? man, the worst thing that will happento them is a $100-$150 million dollar fine or some shit, that said, share prices are down big time and theyre business reputation has been shot to pieces

  • its all this brake by wire, drive by wire electric shit i knew it was shady since it came out

  • How right you are. Used to be all you needed to work on a car was a cresent wrench, pliers and a screwdriver. Now it takes a major garage, probably $320,000 in computer diagnostics, tens of thousands in specialized tools and 6 years in school just to change spark plugs.

  • Yes blame Toyota, and no don't look at people who screwed the economy. Keep your attention on Toyota...

  • I blame the lousy economy on people that buy foreign products, then wonder where all the American jobs went. I also blame the American worker making $35 an hour not taking a $3 wage concession, forcing the closing of his company for overseas labor willing to work for $10 an hour. Duh! Heads are going to roll at Toyota. There's no doubt about that.

  • The Answer Has Been Posted but nobody Listens.

    See YouTube - TheMidnightEngineer

  • If the problem was called by spurious radiation then Toyota needs to fix that vulnerability. Is seems they knew of this for over 6 years, yet did nothing. Then they had the gall to brag about swaying and manipulating the NHTSB and acheiving a profit of over $100,000,000. The head of Toyota will be in Washington D.C. on Thursday 02-25-10 explaining why they did nothing when in fact they knew about it. Corporate profits? There's other issues too, like the brakes on the Prius model. Heads will roll

  • the non-stop Lexus accent was really caused by the floor mat

according to the US arthority and the police

  • Remember when Kristi Bradosky said in 1986 on 60 minutes that the Audi accelerated and killed her son? Do you remember George Russell Weller when he said he stepped on the brakes of his 92 Buick while killing 10 people on a sidewalk in 2003 - both of these people stated at the time the car accelerated and they tried to stop - both were completely wrong - science showed them to be at fault not the car - so please do your homework ! Science will solve this Toyota mystery, stories won't.

  • Why would anybody even attempt to drive a car to the dealer with a malfucntion like that? Have Toyota send you a tow truck. That car was OBVIOUSLY not safe to drive on the street. Poor judgement. Smoking breaks? Good thing he didn't kill anybody.

  • i understand your point-but if he had done what you said toyota would have tried to lay the blame on him/floormats/sticky pedals or some other nonsense, if they accepted there was a problem at all.

  • Just doesn't make sense to take a malfunctioning car on the road which could run down the mom in the crosswalk with baby in stroller, or little kid riding a bike, just to make a point. I think he could have made his point in the Toyota dealer parking lot. Had he killed somebody by knowingly taking a car like that on the road, he would have shared a large chunk of the blame. It's just not responsible and unfair to other motorists and pedestrians.

  • A CHP officer that could'nt just shut off the engine or shift into N. gota wonder about all that training.

  • Yeah - the fact he was a certified safety officer with a decade of daily CHP inspection experienced on a myriad of vehicles - makes you wonder a bit too.

Good thing there was a fire after the high-speed wreck and that burnt up all the electrical connections to the electric over-drive transmission.

  • Toyota has so many recalls they should start a reality show! Call it: The ahhh, sooo show!

  • It turned out that the accident was caused by the floor mat

    the non-stop Lexus accident.

  • the accelerator pedal design is flawless, its all the fat bastard overweight Americans whos feet weigh in excess of 100lbs that is causing damage to the accelerator device, fat fucking obese country!

  • yes the desiging has no problem

the problem is it wears out a bit

  • Buy Ford !!

  • The Ford Fusion has the same problem although the media dont mention it very much

  • The United States is itself for diminishing the brand of Toyota.

  • Toyota car made in the United States is items made in America of a defective product. It's also American that the brand of Toyota was injured.

  • Russian Foreign Ministry sources are reporting in the Kremlin today that President Obama has issued a blunt warning to Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama that unless Japan immediately reverses course away from China their giant automaker Toyota will be completely destroyed to be followed very quickly by Hondas destruction too.

  • The study being carried out by Menlo Park, Calif.-based engineering research firm Exponent supports Toyota's assertion that there is no evidence of problems in the electronics in Toyota and Lexus products, according to a copy of the study dated Feb. 4 obtained by The Wall Street Journal.

  • With all the camrys and Corollas being buit in the U.S. I am not suprise toyota is starting to have problem with these cars. I have a yaris and it was built in Japan. works great.

  • How anyone in good conscience could continue to do business with this irresponsible company is beyond me. They have tried to cover up this problem for years, but now the chickens are coming home to roost. I am sorry for all those hurt or killed by these cars, and I hope Toyota gets sued into oblivion.

  • I have a 2007 camry I LOVE IT!!!!

  • Camry is just fine.

  • He's ranted his way throughout the posts on this topic that I've seen.....He's a true blue american Ford guy, which makes his judgement and common sense suspect right from the start...and continued use of profanity against anyone who dares to make a comment that does anything other than completely trash Toyota equals narrow minded idiot.

  • The sneaky US President : FDR's memo in 1940

    10. If by these means Japan could be led to commit an

overt act of war, so much the better. At all events we must be fully

prepared to accept the threat of war.

  • what a load of fucking crap! If the US wanted to start a war with Toyota, they would have fucking told them to hit the road with their US operations and slap huge tariffs on import cars to protect our economy like the Japanese do!

Your out of you mind. Why is the Feds investigating the NHSTA'S conduct over this issue? The NHSTA is a gov't regulation body! Fact is the Toyota lawyers and lobbyists played the NHSTA like a fiddle for years!

  • This is your sneaky government did

FDR's memo in 1940, which was 1 year before Pearl Habour

    10. If by these means Japan could be led to commit an

overt act of war, so much the better. At all events we must be fully

prepared to accept the threat of war.

  • ..its 19 dead and definitely many more will be uncovered and this type of problem is much more difficult to confirm as a cause than a inherent design defect like the Ford pinto's gas tank/bumper. Hey nobody's claiming domestics didn't fuck up but it was the likes of you who claimed Toyota was faultlessly reliable, safe and superior cars in a league of their own ....which is just fucking pathetically laughable! I believe 100's of people have died in Toyota's where toyota escaped blame!

  • 2 death per a year

Dont be fooled by the media

Many more people die in car accidents of Ford and GM

  • 19 for the last 10 years

about 2 people per a year

    out of 10million cars

  • 19 DOCUMENTED - it's hard to diagnose this problem in ANY accident so the real death toll figures to be MUCH HIGHER. One death is too many. How does this justify Toyota's business practice over the last 3 decades!? THE NHSTA DOCUMENTED CONSIDERABLY MORE UNINTENDED ACCELERATION COMPLAINTS INVOLVING TOYOTAS LAST YEAR THAN ALL OTHER MANUFACTURERS COMBINED! SEE A TREND HERE IDIOT! STATE FARM INSURANCE RAISED PREMIUMS ON TOYOTA VEHICLES BECAUSE OF HIGH CLAIM RATES 2 YEARS AGO - SE A PATTERN POS!

  • 19 *for the last *10 years*

    2 per year

  • Last year? CTS Pedal ? LOL

CTS is a US comapny lol

  • unintended accelaration=CTS US companY'S pedal LOL

  • LOL

many more people die in FORD and GM

    lol

  • The UN? the same bureaucracy that falsely legitimized anthropogenic global warming....and now they claim Toyota's are 'the most dependable cars' - theirs confirmation of Toyota's being junk if I ever heard one....as the UN is a shitpool of lying dictators and zealots who want a global dictatorship! Greatly exaggerated how? By reporting the truth about Toyota? Your a patent moron!

  • reviewed more than 200,000 complaints filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) over the last decade and found that Toyota ranked 17th among the top 20 automakers in the overall number of complaints per vehicle sold.

  • LOL

It is your friend : NHTSA lmao

    not the UN lol

  • Dont discredit your friend NHTSA by saying that their data is not reliable LMAO

  • ...WHAT? you make absolutely no sense at all you semantic debating Piece of shit!

Toyota is cheap garbage - period!....and always has been.

  • yeah you keep ignoraing the fact that the acceleration pedal was the CTS us pedal LOL

  • Only uneducated people say

    A is B period LOL

    go to college sometime LOL

  • The Cheap garbage Toyota has much fewer number of complaints than Ford and GM LMAO

  • @tenacioustaut

thats true . ford gives you problems with starters , gm give you problems with alternator and toyota give you problems with killing the driver , all passengers and anyone that gets on their way . thats what i call toyota quality . lol

  • Many more people die in Ford and GM

although the Media do nto even talk about it.

  • and the CTS pedal is made by the US company.

  • 4 or 5 accidents in the last 10 years lol

    2 people per a year.

Its still sad but many many more die in Ford and GM

  • @tenacioustaut

the people that are making the headlines it not ford or gm , its toyota .

  • That is the point

Thats why it is Toyota bashing

  • "Toyota bashing?" Really, dude? Alerting people of an issue that could affect not only their lives but the lives of their passengers and others on and around the road is bashing? You expect people to believe this is all some great big "Punk'd" at Toyota's expense. What fantasy world do you live in? Toyota...oh what a feeling...to accelerate uncontrollably!

  • 2 per year?

Many more people die in Ford and GM.

    Why don they mention it?

The number of complaints's Top 10,11th are GM and Ford

Toyota and Honda's are 17th and 18th out of 20 car makers

They could have been in the cruise mode.

If so, then the tragidy could have been avoided by reading the Instructions carefully.

  • @tenacioustaut

ACTUALLY TOYOTA PASSED UP GM WITH FATALITIES WITH THIS ONE RECALL. NICE TRY THOUGH KEEP STICKING UP FOR A AUTOMAKER THAT CARES ABOUT AS MUCH FOR YOU AS I DO. AND I DONT EVEN KNOW YOU THEY HID ISSUES FOR ALONG TIME. ITS ALL GONNA COME OUT

  • @tenacioustaut

2 per year? toyota has 2600+(and counting) cases with 56(and counting deaths. the next closest is ford with 387 cases and no deaths.

  • @304teddy

    56 SELF-PROCLAIMED

    keep in mind

  • Dont you even know that the instructions for Prius CLEARLY TALKS ABOUT THE ABS SYSTEM?

You need to drive a certain distance away from the car in front.

The system exists to stop your car safely on icy and wetty roads to prevent you from slipping.

They should have read the instructions before driving Prius

  • It is like the person who sued the microwave maker for blowing up a cat when she tried to dry the cat with a microwave.

People should read the instructions before driving cars.

  • @tenacioustaut

AND PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN ALL THE FACTS BEFORE THEY BASH ON PEOPLE ESPECIALLY WHEN FAMILIES ARE DIEING. FOR NOW 34 ARE DEAD THAT NUMBER WILL BE OVER 100 WHEN ITS OVER. HAVE SOME RESPECT. AND GOOGLE TOYOTA DEATHS AND SEE WHAT YOU FIND. BUT WAIT ITS ALL A CONSPIRACY. YEAH RIGHT

  • Keep in mind that people sue for money in the US LOL

  • Yes, the number will jump up

because people are greedy and want to get money LOL

  • Many more people have died in Ford and GM

    keep in mind LMAO

  • The US company CTS will be in trouble LMAO

  • Nicely done

    US company CTS LMAO

  • When Bill Clinton was in power, he formed a special Japnaese bashing team

    Clintin Edward Obama all Lawyers

  • This guy blames Prius by saying

"Those of us who don't read the owner's manual, myself included," Lyons said, "didn't realize that."

    LOL

  • Guest

We drive a 2006 Toyota Avalon that often accelerates rapidly while using the cruise control. The car does not go out of control, it just rapidly accelerates to reach the set speed on the cruise control. It's only a jerky ride,

  • "We drive a 2006 Toyota Avalon that often accelerates rapidly while using the cruise control." its obvious now that you are full of shit, nothing toyota builds "accelerates rapidly".

  • @304teddy

You should read the instructions more carefully

  • all cruise control systems are turned off by brake application. its not the cruise control. i dont need to read about cruise control i know how it works-regardless i wouldnt be caught dead(pun intended)in a toyota. 27,000 trouble free miles? what does that matter when the 27,001 mile almost killed her?

  • @304teddy

You should read the instructions carefully

The Lexus driver didnt read the instruction so he didnt know how to turn off the engine.

He used a longer floor mat

Do you believe her story? dont you even find it dubious? wow

  • @304teddy

People like you who are too confident and dont even read the instructions are very dangerous.

The Lexus driver could have avoided the accident if he had read the instructions

  • @304teddy

    anway

    sell your LExus

Toyota shouldnt have sold a car to people like you who dont even read the instructions

  • "@304teddy

    anway

    sell your LExus"

LMAO im not reatarded, i wouldnt be caught dead(pun intended)in a lexus.

  • @304teddy

Toyota wouldnt want people who do not read the instructions to drive their cars

  • @304teddy

yeah people like you who are easily deceived by the media believe everything

    God bless you

  • @304teddy

Keep in mind that It was the US police who concluded that it was the WRONG FLOOR MAT that caused the accident .

  • @304teddy

Keep in mind that more people have died in GM and Ford

    Good luck

  • @304teddy

Gilbert said that he overrode that safety feature, allowing faulty pedal signals to go to the engine with no problem being detected by the car's on-board computer.

Exponent, the research firm hired by Toyota, was able to replicate Gilbert's results but says that the test presents an unrealistic situation that has virtually no chance of happening in the real world.

  • @304teddy

Toyota and the Stanford professor showed the lie of Gilbert in public.

  • @304teddy

You should read about the cruise control in the instructions

  • The Wall Street Journal

The Lexus sedan driven by Rhonda Smith, who testified in Congress Tuesday about a harrowing incident of sudden acceleration, is still on the road, according to the National Highway traffic Safety Administration.

In fact, the new owners of the luxury ES350 sedan have reported 27,000 miles trouble-free with the vehicle, according to a NHTSA spokeswoman. Mrs. Smith and her husband sold the vehicle after the incident, in which she thought she might die.

  • @304teddy

Cruise control (sometimes known as speed control or autocruise) is a system that automatically controls the speed of a motor vehicle. The system takes over the throttle of the car to maintain a steady speed as set by the driver.

  • @304teddy

All you have to do is to TURN OFF the cruise control

  • Top 4, 5 Fewest complaints were Toyota and Honda.

    Ford 11th

    GM 10th

    LMAO

  • when you make for love, you make the better.when you make for money, you loose control.

  • i see in toronto news that now honda have the problems with airbags and thats a fucking a good reason to buy gm. ford. and Chrysler. fuck all American cars (sorry for my English)

  • @yavaslublu

    LOL

Honda's recall is just in case

    Honda's airbags work perfectly.

GM and Ford should fix their airbag problems too let alone their safety crash test degree.

By the way, if you press the brake of Prius HARDER, it works

  • @yavaslublu

Keep on being brainwashed by the media that always bash Toyota when Democrats are in power lol

Democrats consist of scoundrel lawyers , keep in mind LOL

  • Former Toyota lawyer, Dimitri Billious testified Toyota upper management purposefully, illegally buried tests revealing problems & redid the tests in ways that conceal Toyota defects from the government. Criminal conspiracy if true.

Defective brakes. Electronic power train defects. Defective steering.

And there is no reason to believe that Toyota has these problems "fix" methods figured out or deliverable to be installed by dealers.

This will take months not weeks to resolve.

  • @charles43110

    He is *former* , indeed.

Lawyers dont know anything about technologies.

All they know is to how to make money out of suing others.

  • @charles43110

Please read the instructions for Prius.

The instructions clearly say that the ABS is not to stop cars quickly; the ABS is to prevent your car from slipping on icy roads.

They should have read the instructions more carefully. If you use the brake hard on icy roads, your car will slip.

  • @charles43110

According to the study, Toyota had fewer complaints than its American rivals. Ford (F, Fortune 500) was number 10 on the list, while General Motors (GM, Fortune 500) came in at number 11.

  • ....too bad the study is worthless as the paper it's printed on. Not scientific and completely subjective - nice try! Fact is that Toyota's unintended acceleration complaints to the NHSTA increased 10 FOLD BETWEEN 2000 -09! 19 dead and hundreds injured so far. Your all POS' for making excuses for these dirt bags. The defending of Toyota is pathetic considering the dirt thrown on the domestics over MINOR issues! Toyota has REPEATEDLY, AND KNOWINGLY LET CUSTOMERS DRIVE DEFECTIVE VEHICLES!

  • ...just in case? your out of your fucking asian mind! What fucking planet are you from you POS! Was the media brainwashing us when Domestics got raked over the coals over minor defect recalls - unlike Toyota's numerous inherent design safety defects! The Fusion DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM YOU POS! NO ACCIDENTS HAVE EVER OCCURRED UNLIKE THE 14 DOCUMENTED IN JAPAN WITH THE PRIUS! YOUR JUST A LYING SACK OF SHIT!

  • ....Hey assplug! There is no conspiracy against toyota. Check the facts no-mind! The NHSTA is a gov't agency responsible for protecting US consumers from defective autos. It has been established that recalls should have occurred in 2007 as state Farm insurance notified the NHSTA that the amount of disproportionate claims involving Toyotas, and had raised their premiums accordingly. Many documented problems were brought to Toyota's attention but the NHSTA rolled over an gave Toyota a pass!

  • ...The NHSTA gave Toyota a pass, likely due to pressure from Toyota lobbyists - so now the Federal gov't is investigating THE NHSTA AS WELL AS TOYOTA FOR NOT TAKING THE PROPER, PRUDENT AND MORAL ACTION TO DEAL WITH THE OBVIOUS TOYOTA PROBLEMS! SO MUCH FOR THE CONSPIRACY THEORY ASSPLUG! WHEN ONE OF THE LARGEST CAR INSURANCE COMPANIES SEES A TREND OF MUCH HIGHER THAN USUALL CLAIMS ON TOYOTA PRODUCTS AND RAISED PREMIUMS OVER 2 YRS AGO - WHAT'S YOUR FIRST CLUE YOU FUCKING WASTE OF SKIN!

  • ....'SCOUNDREL LAWYERS' ...and Toyota has an army of them! If Toyota's are not defective, then why the 10 years of contempt of court via withholding of evidence,6 figure fines for Toyota from judges, and out of court death/injury settlements, monetarily hinging on plaintiffs signing confidentiality agreements?! Funny how when the media spread lies of Toyota being great cars when they ALWAYS were unsafe, terrible handling, poor performing, cheaply made overpriced POS'! That was ok though

  • Toyota's are made in the USA. With USA parts and American auto workers.

  • Lies the thousand times became the truth. This is why Toyota is not as good as before.

Surely, Toyota has some problem now, but it should not as serious as CNN said.
