No, from the videos I've seen, and I'm not breaking NDA because I'm not in the beta and have no insider news... Your toon gets 3 crew skills total. You have 5 companions so you can send 3 of them out to do one mission, one gathering or one craft skill each.

@HTeast Hey mate, Its the Non-Disclosure agreement that we all have to agree too when we get into the beta, basically it means we cannot tell anyone about parts of the game that are not public knowledge and changes too it, we also cant film for public use, When it gets lifted it means we can flood these channels with new information and footage, Hope that helped!

Truth be told though, you handled Gathering and Crafting really well but you said pretty much Nothing about Mission skills. "Investigation allows you to follow trails and examine evidence to discover valuable secrets." ... meaning what? And how exactly does that differ from Treasure hunting? Also, might be worthwhile to mention that Diplomacy isn't just a skill to talk to people and gather souvenirs, it is your method for farming DS/LS points, that kind of thing. Other than that, good overview.

@psychee1 Thanks, I dont know a great deal about mission skills to be frank, I might make another video entirely about them since they are what makes the crew skills system different to the normal MMO

@Nedz406 Yeah, they haven't really been very forthcoming on their main page about what they actually do, other than a few. I can fill in a few blanks for you though; Diplomacy is mainly for gaining LS/DS points. Treasure hunting is basically a random loot generator, you send them off to find you Stuff. Underworld trading is the one you use to try and dig up rare recipes for crafting. The rest, I've no idea about.

Mhmm have to say some things you're saying there arent exactly correct...should have waited till you had some actual game knowledge under your belt instead of basing it on the current available knowledge of Crew Skills outside of the beta.

@Maikinized There's several things but for example Synthweaving is explained here as making light armor...while it actually makes light/medium and heavy armor for Force users.

@Nedz406 Not exactly an ultimate guide then ;) But I appreciete the effort but it might confuse some folks...armormech for example just makes all the armor for the none force users while synthweaving makes it for the force users. Also Cybertech doesnt make any armor or trinkets (apart from 1 certain item slot...which isnt exactly armor)...it makes mods...but I really shouldnt be saying all this as I shouldnt according a certain NDA I believe? :D
