i have noo idea what that is but for me it works by going to 'Install Programs' or what its called. Then i type in 'Search' 'recordmydesktop'. Then just install it.
Ah, it feels go good to be a Linux user :) I can't wait for the new distro of Ubuntu!! (P.S.... have you ever heard of beryl or compiz? they're fantastic desktop managers.. I recommend Compiz :D )
Linux has many uses, and just because it is good for businesses doesn't mean it's bad for home use. Get yourself an Ubuntu Live CD and try it out for yourself. After you try it, you won't think it's complicated.
I didn't use Hypercam. Remember? It's only compatible with Windows. The screencast program used here is Istanbul, and it's only available for Linux. Besides, if it were Hypercam, you would see that annoying "Unregistered Hypercam" thing in the top left corner.
Actually linux aint really so good for gamers like me.
Cause some games require you to download something for them to work. And those things are made for windows only. So yeah.
Tho you dont have to worry about viruses and so on but....
