  • Nice review dude.. Found their english translation of the baltika site..

    eng.baltika.ru/brand/0/3/13/6_porter.html

    There ya go ;-P

  • I picked up some great tips and laughed along the way! You rock!!! Thanks for posting! (On to your next vid...)

  • Would you like some beer with that head?

  • try Baltika Cooler, its better than Corona I promise!

  • @temich1985 hell no!! cooler sucks!

  • Picked up this beer for a $1.75 and I got to say i enjoyed this better than a lot of other much more expensive beers of this style.

  • Been watching a couple videos and your funnya s hell and your cool man i like your reviews and keep on doing them maybe some european beer lol was watching beerfest good movie its funny lol

  • Hi man.

Looks like you are really enjoying to do the reviews. Keep em coming.

    All the best from Norway.

  • I just bought a couple bottles of this beer! i typed baltika in the youtube search and I see you had a review so im watching and drinkin at the same time! thanks Joe for the review!

  • Good review. Have too see if you can get hold of a Baltika in Sweden.

  • Dude the Reaction to the Head his hilarious !

  • I was at the Flying Saucer in downtown Kansas City and asked the bartender for his favorite porter or stout, and nothing lighter. He returns with an Old Rasputin, and a round later I ask him for his second favorite since the OR was so good. He pulls out a bottle of #6 from the fridge and pours it into a glass. Once it hit my lips, I fell in love. It easily became my favorite beer and surpassed anything I had ever tasted before it. #4 is similar to #6, but lighter in flavor. Also very good.

  • I was really surprised by Baltika, I was introduced to them by a russian friend and now they're some of my favorite beers. Especially #9 Lager, It sort of drinks like the lighter domestic beers with a full flavor but has something like 9% abv and it goes down real quick and easy, so yeah you can probably tell why its one of my favorites!

  • In-N-Out!

    Represent us with pride.

  • yea... I'm having this beer right now. It's okay - just very run of the mill porter. Dark, chocolatey but nothing out of the blue for me. Nothing too different - no kick, kind of bland.

  • hahaha you gotta tilt that glass until the top bro! That's too much head man! Tilt it until you get to the top!

  • dude if you wanna save your caps go to the home deopt and get a a paint can opener. they save your caps good man...

  • I love beer :D

  • @BalticaBeer Thanks for watching.

  • dude, this was awesome, laughed hard at your reaction, funny

  • @khatiba Thanks for watching.

  • I loves me some porter....

  • watch?v=FKz9MHOnrRg&feature=related

    try this ;)

  • try the baltica cooler ;) ..its pretty cool :DD

  • I'm from Ontario Canada and I have only tried the Baltika 3 beer. I thought it was pretty damn good, but I don't consider myself experienced in beer tasting and what not haha. If you see some Baltika 3, I would love to see a review. Cheers!

  • I drank Baltika 5,6,8,9 and 0(which is not alcoholic) its easy to get Baltika in the place I live since there many Russians here and I'm Russian and I love beer

  • @CyrillKR This was a really good beer. I remember being quite surprised.

  • This is English site for No. 6 from Baltika. Since I can't post links, you'll have to translate it but I think it is self-explanatory.

    h t t p(colon)(slash)(slash)eng(dot)baltika(dot)ru(slash)brand(slash)0(slash)3(slash)13(slash)6_porter(dot)h t m l

  • Thank you for the info

  • I am so glad you enjoyed the brew. Thank you for watching and tell a friend.

  • the color looks amazing

  • This was a very good porter. Thanks for watching.

  • If you want another good Russian beer... try Zhigulevskoye... sorry had to google that for the spelling!

  • That is some crazy spelling, but I know for a fact I can't get that Russian beer here. Sounds interesting though.

  • haha the Wall(e) comment total get it. haha

  • I hope you liked this beer. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.

  • Just order this beer can't wait to try it. Love porters to death.

  • Hi,

you can switch the original Baltika Website to english, just click on the english flag on the intro page ;-)

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • Hey,

hops are what gives beer a bitter taste and makes the head, so the head tastes probably very

'hopy' and bitter, not so much my taste....

    take care

    Joe from Germany

  • Thanks for that info.

  • Hi Joe D.,

never heard of this beer but what i can say is..

the head of the beer never tastes good, NEVER!

I wonder whay that is so?....

I'm having my favorite brew right now as i am writing and it has a picture perfect head in the glass...

but when i taste just the head... 'Oh mein Gott!' sorry, but it sucks so bad! *haha*

    best wishes from Germany

    Joe B.

P.S. All 'all American Burgers' rock!

  • Thanks for letting me know what you think of the head of a beer. My opinion is very different. When you have a really good beer the head is just as good. It should enhance your drinking experience. Thanks for watching.

  • All men like fat burgers :)

  • Glad to hear from someone else that likes Fatburger.

  • baltika sucks, mate. well, maybe this one is okay, but don't even think about trying any other baltika :) you will hurt yourself :)

  • Thanks for letting me know what you thought of this beer. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • hey man, you should review molson ex or molson XXX which ever one its called. Very good strong beer in my opinion. Cheers.

  • I will consider that one. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Hey bro,... i'm from Singapore.... loved all your reviews..... Should Try out Fullers London Porter..... looking forward to more reviews...

  • Thank you for tuning in and tell a friend.

  • Great review, I've never had a Russian beer, I'll have to look around and see if I can get one... might have to travel to NJ to find one!

  • If you do happen to find this brand of beer. The 4 or 5 is supposed to be really good. Thanks for watching.

  • JJ let me tell you the beer has 1-9 numbars 1 being darkest 9 being lightest. 4/5 are very good. Try the 7 or 8 for a different taste as well, Taste sweet at the start as well

  • Балтика веры гоод беер оне оф тхе бест.

илл гиве ит а 4/5. Тхе даркер беер ис беттер ин балтикас терм.

  • I take it your Russian. I was really surprised how good this beer was. If I understand the translation correctly you want me to try the 4 or the 5. I will try those at some point. I would really like to try other Russian beers first. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • you can switch to english on that baltika website, i checked it out

  • Thank you for that info Brother. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Fatburger is awesome. In-N-Out is definitely better, though. That was one of the best burgers I ever had.

  • I keep hearing rumors that we are getting a in n out here in albuquerque but nothing yet. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, Glad to hear from someone that has at least been to this brewery. Very cool. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Found a new beer place in the 'hood and they carry Baltika. I watched this review again cuz I know I'll be pickin some up soon... Im starting with #6

I like how you stress the glass to people, true shit. So, how many glasses do you have?

  • Funny that you found this in the "hood" but I am glad they have a decent selection. I have quite a few glasses. Not sure on a exact number, but if I took a guess I would have to say around 40 to 50.

  • LoL... You know how sometimes there are good 'beer places' in the neighborhood. Around my way theres a place that sells wine, cheese, and caviar and has a good beer selection that I frequent. But recently, I found a Kwiky Mart/Ghandi/7-11 style joint that advertises 'Best beer selection in South Florida" turns out they arent the best but that have some rare stuff on the shelves... bout a mile from tha crib. Go figure.

Anyways, 40-50 glasses... wow, nice. Im not even at at 10 yet lol

    Stay Up

  • hahaha. oh that head:)

  • Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • ijdaven, i love you. thanks

  • Haha, Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Ay u makin me homesick with that shirt, I'm a 702 baby so I know about In and Out. Anyways, good review on the Russian beer, lord knows it can be overwhelming at the 'beer shop' when you see so much stuff you never seen or heard of before... and the fact you chose a porter says alot, I always go for the porters or stouts firstmyself, I'm drinking a McGoverns Oatmeal Stout right now. ;) Stay up

  • Haha, In and out is great. I get some every time I go to Phoenix. Thanks for watching and enjoy your beer.

  • Man, Fatburger is great! In n' Out is too, hard to say which is better...anyway, great job. keep up the good work. if you wanna try another russian beer that's pretty good you should check out Old Rasputin, if i remember correctly it was a stout, a stout that made guinness seem like a lager. cheers.

  • I have put this beer on the list. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Ahahaha, stay away from that Head !

  • Haha, it was pretty bitter. Thanks for watching.

  • try baltika 7 my 2nd favorite and heiniken 1st

  • Thanks for the input. I will put those on the list.

  • Man, I was going to have that one next. I've had three other Baltikas. Speaking of Fatburger I had one when I was in Vegas last and I just found out we got one down in South Beach. Try the Extra Lager next.

  • I will have to remember to try the extra lager. Fatburger is great. I really miss that place. Thanks for watching.

  • "Oh good lord stay away from that head" made my day =]

  • I remember that head was aweful!!

  • Good vd dogg, that looks like GREAT beer man

  • It wasn't bad. I had never even heard of this brew so it was a good surprise. Thanks for watching.

  • i was wondering if we could get a vid of you your bottle cap collection

  • I have been wanting to do this very same thing. I am waiting a little longer till I get a few more than I will post something. I only started about 3 weeks ago. So it will be another few weeks before I post something.

  • Have you tried Baltika 9? Check out my commercial for it.

  • No I haven't. This is the only Russian beer I have ever had. I am going to see your commercial right now. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Thanks for the review. How about a review of Stella Artois, a Belgium beer. not sure if you done that one. take care.

  • That is a very highly requested beer and I will get to that one really soon. Thank you for your input!!

  • Great Review, I think I'm going to have to try some of the Baltika beers.

  • Thanks Norm! This Russian beer was really surprising. I didn't think I would like it, but it was pretty good. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Birra Moretti La Rossa - awesome beer...its a dark Italian beer...

  • I have had that beer a bunch. It is very good. If I haven't reviewed it already then I will get to it. Thanks for watching!!

  • Hey Joe, Great Show, I'd like to see a Moosehead beer review, it would take getting into the first 3 beers to do it justice before you started the review, then working into the sixth one for the review, maybe like a time lapse video, after you acquire the taste I think you would like it, maybe we can do one together some time eh? Still listening of course to your podcast Man Take Care

  • Hey buddy, thanks for commenting. We should sit down and have a beer man that would be great. I will have to review moosehead. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • I've from California too. Love the in n out never had the fat burger though, have to try it out sometime..

  • Oh I love fatburger as well. Thanks for watching and tell a friend!

  • Hell,i must track this one down..

  • Yes it wasn't bad if you like porters. Thanks for your continued support.

  • Yeah i love porters :)

  • Haha, oh man. I'm definitely a fan of In-N-Out. Man I wish we had those on the East Coast. Never had Fatburger, but I've heard good things. Anyways, good review dog. I got a beer to recommend to ya. Arrogant Bastard Ale. That stuff was delicious. I tried a bunch of beers on Thanksgiving. This one stood out most though.

  • In n out is pretty good I get some every time I go to Phoenix. That is the closest one to here. Thanks for watching and the beer request.

  • A great way to get the perfect head is to pour about 1/3 to 2/3s of the beer in the glass and let the head setel and shrink to about 3 inches this will take about half a minute to 2 minutes at this point the head will become a slighty tuff and you can pur the rest into the glass and get the perfect head. Ofcoarse this is done if you do have the time to do so lol

  • I forgot to mention that the pur is a strait pour

  • Thanks for the info. I normally do pour like that but sometimes I get in a rush on camera. Thanks for commenting.
