這張唱片「福建名曲專輯」是1980年12月香港「寶麗金唱片」­公司出版的。有歌迷對唱片公司為此片的片名「福建名曲專輯」不滿­,而覺得用「閩南語金曲集」則更適當。可是這張唱片當時只在新加­坡及馬來西亞出版，而東南亞地區的華人都把閩南語和福建話這兩種­方言看作一種同樣的言語，所以「寶麗金唱片」公司就跟對市場的習­俗運用「福建名曲專輯」。總而言之，好歌經典是無分國籍的。

May be because like myself, we don't understand the dialect she is using in this song, sound to me like taiwaness dialect, but. her voice is there, always sweet and touching.

yes, it's very similar to Hoken, Taiwanese. It's more like Bannan. I love it. Though I was not born in either china or taiwan. Thx to my parent for forcing it on us when we were young.
