Don't you have anything on the language of these people? I mean some, either consciously or unconsciously made recordings that contains Tu conversation.
So very sorry, but I don't. Sometimes, it is difficult enough traveling in China with our language barrier but I believe our guide told us that it is a dying language and no one chooses to learn or speak it. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
they "predate the tibetan people" but the first guy is (poorly) singing a song by a Tibetan singer in Chinese, about a Tibetan girl (Dolma) and the dancers with the striped aprons are in Tibetan dress (as per Chinese stereotype) lemme guess, govt organized troupe?
You are one smart cookie. This is the Eastern Tibet Region in Qinghai Province and I'm sure it is Government organized. But it is extra (and welcome) income for the people and was fun to watch. Thanks for commenting.
They are called "Tu" , native of Qinghai, whose country "Tuyuhun" or "Tangut" was invaded and destroyed by Tibet Empire and claimed by dalai lama to be "great Tibet" nowadays. Don't just blame the others "invaders". Now they are living peacefully with Tibetan peoples under the name of China, no wonder why there were Tibetan dances in the show as well. Extremists don't know how to appreciate other people's culture.
They call themselves "Mongor".
