I agree with what you said about mannerisms and body language. You are totally an INFJ...check out my video when you get a chance. It's called INFJ - Response to Ninjasocrates (another Youtube member who's an INFJ). Take care!
I think the main thing is to find something to help other's. I feel somehow I can't do that as my job, maybe that was how I was raised. Job and charity seem to be separate. But I do believe jobs can really help people, so I don't know. Anyways, good luck. I know you really need support to do something right? It's hard to have so many choices now a days with no real "chosen" calling. Life as an infj is hard :p
My mom is an INFP and i'm an INFJ she went for psychology and got her bachelor's degree and worked for the mental health association for many years and is now working towards her master's degree to become a physiologist. I also really like writing, I'd love to have a novel before I die that changes the world's perspective by revealing secrets i believe are true about the universe and generally things not proven yet.I can't ever choose one thing! I went to art college, i'm a stay at home mom .
I'm an INFJ and listening to your story... I could have inserted myself and it would have been almost 100% accurate. It's so crazy! Thanks for sharing... you articulated things SO WELL. If I wanted someone to understand me I would seriously consider referring them to your video. lol. Blessings on all your pursuits!
You look, talk and act like my friend...I've often wondered if she was an INFJ too. Anyway, you should make more videos and I'm sure they would be great 'cause INFJs tend to be creatively gifted.
you sound EXACTLY like my INFJ boyfriend, your facial expressions, the pauses in speech even, that's incredible. and what's even more interesting, you look exactly like a blend between us, like if we had a daughter she would probably look like you. that's hilarious.
you most definitely are an INFJ. this is fascinating. we want to meet you hahahahaha
Oops.. last part of my comment didn't make it through.... I was going to say that "In the end, we may see the world similarly, but we are all products of our personal life experiences which makes us all unique. Thanks again for posting this! "
Interesting video! I am also an INFJ and can relate to a lot of what you discussed - particularly the career aspects. I too have taken a special interest in psychology and feel a very strong desire to do something meaningful. I especially appreciate the part at the end where you talk about typology not being the "be-all end-all" of compatibility. On a different level as well, I think people generally place too much importance of their type by fusing it with their overall sense of identity.
I am an INFJ and majoring in social work. I want to dedicate my career life to helping at-risk girls and possibly open an all girls at-risk youth center. I am currently majoring in social work and will be graduating in spring! I majored in health sciences, english, and biological sciences before I finally decided on social work. I am from Florida and there are a few great universities here. Check out UF and UWF!
Good vid. As a N, you might want to look into NLP as well. There are a lot of really bad stuff out there claiming to be NLP related, but foundation is one of my top intellectual toys (as a ENTP). (In NLP MBTI attributes are grouped into a class called "Metaprograms"). Going even more Meta, Ken Wilbers Integral philosophy is also interesting.
From a fellow INFJ your spot on with the type. The speech patter laced with uhs and ums ( I'm terrible about it myself ), fidgeting, and of course very good at linear/coherent rambling haha. I feel that INFJs definitely demonstrate the most obviously consistent demeanor from individual to individual. Nice vid enjoyed it.
Hey I loved ur vlog! I do see similarities in ur speech and mannerisms! Ps there is a gratuitous Facebook group of INFJs world wide! It's closed, so we are free to post all kinds of stuff!
I'm an INFJ I'm doing international relations/anthropology with a focus on human rights :] I would do psychology but it requires more school as you mentioned and I cannot stand the confinement of school anymore lol
I am an INFJ and it is so weird how my demeanor is so much like yours when I am on video. I even have the exact same eye movements and I also say "uhm" alot.
I was thinking of going into psychology for a while too, but I could never see myself being a psychologist or counselor exactly. I'm currently in education and I love it. I am debating on going getting endorsed in special education or a masters/PhD in educational psychology. Leaning a bit more towards special education at the moment though... but that changes by the day. ;-)
You are lovely. Thanks for your video. I remembering going through ALL of those same options in college. It is so fascinating how INFJs are all drawn to psychology and English and Music etc. So, are you on Personality Cafe forums? We'd enjoy your presence there. :)
you should check out the book: Gut and Psychology Syndrome, and my videos about GAPS diet. it has been miraculous for me & my family and healed me of depression. mental illness is a digestive disorder. a gut dysbiosis. if you became familiar with this info you could help a lot of people as you become a counselor :)

Interesting, I'm the same way. People feel comfortable enough around me to talk about themselves but it's hard for me to be open back, in return.
