@thelibertysmith - the yellow trike is an HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS. A very nice full suspension trike. Not sure what the brand of the mask is.. I will ask him and post the answer here when I find out.

Oh, the other trike you see passing us in the downhill, the orange shirted rider on the blue trike. that one is a Catrike Trail.
@dregerclock Cool! I didn't recognize it until you pointed it out. The Catrike Trail is the bike I have my eye on since it is relatively affordable, upgradable and the new 2011 has an adjustable seat. You have further solidified my decision after seeing him zoom past you all :P
@thelibertysmith - Just got an email from Johnny about his face mask. here is what he said, "The mask is call Techno made my Respro, a company from England. I bought it while I was in London. I think they sell it hear now. It's a great mask. The mask is a HEPA filter and charcoal filter that filters out the dust and other particulates from the road. Since we are so low to the ground (and near the tail pipes), we get all the stuff kicked up by cars and trucks."

@mrcranky01 - ahh... dono. steering is pretty stable if you hold it loosely... I guess I have just gotten used to it.

@laughingcrows - probably 35 to 40mph... i have had the trike up to 45... but on a steeper hill than this.

The guy with that mask over his mouth has the right idea.... I guess he swallowed one too many bugs...
every time I see people on upright bikes riding among you trikers, I cant help but think: "awwww... look at those poor people, they lost a wheel...)
