Have two brothers, one has a Deep Bark, and one a sharp bark. They don't shed hair, and have a wonderful coat/skin, and they bard extremely little unless it is to alert or warn off.

I run the beach near by every chance or the woods.

They are friendly and calm, but can open a can of Whoop A-- instantly. They work as a team, and not Moutain cat or other dogs will mess with them, for very long that is as they are very sprilted, yet obediant

We live at the beach in the pacific northwest and our 2 rhodies love to play and swim in the ocean and nearby rivers. They also don't care about rain which is good as it rains practically all the time here.

What a beautiful dog. We had two, neither would swim,wade and wallow was about it. They'd case a ball when they were young but wouldn't call it retrieving.

Had a Rhodesian Ridgeback a couple years ago, 140 pounds of pure terror. Was very human agressive so we sent him to a farm.

I got a RR ..from the start i made sure he would be friendly dog..but he still good guard dog and he protect his owners..and he went to dog training when he was a pup..if you want one you got to like hairs..they get everywhere LOL..Oh mine wont swim he paddle tho and he hates the rain

How did you get your RR to swim?? You have to check out my video and you will see why!!

We just had to put our RR, Abasi, down because of some bizarre thing happened where his intestines got twisted (not bloat) and 4 feet of his intestines died inside of him. We did surgery and he survived for 3 weeks! The Vet had no idea why? So sad...
