If one of these guys fell off the boat, would the auto-pilot just continue the boat onwards without them, or is there some sort of safety thing?

@IVIattE yes there is they wear a harness which has a rope attachd with a kalabinder on the end which they attach to the boat when walking up and down or standing still

I'll be there for the departure in Les Sables d'Olonne, France. Was there in 2008 and it was an amazing experience.
