You want some numbers?? Just a few years ago, right before Crosby came in, the Pens only averaged a pathetic 11,000!!!!!! Bad enough for dead last in all of the nhl!!! The team had one foot already outside of Allegheny County.

I remember watching this game on TV. I went through the full range of emotions that night, from ecstasy to agony back to ecstasy. Just seeing the electricity of the crowd that night makes me feel it will be even louder come playoff time! GO JACKETS!

weak argument....minnesota has sold out every game since they came back into the league despite playing the same boring style hockey. hitchcock and lemaire are 2 of the ruiners of hockey. and no, you haven't sold out every game since then. yeah, detroit sold out with the help of a few thousand wings fans. there was like 15K for the blackhawks game.

its hardly research....i pay attention to the jackets because i live in ohio, but i am first and foremost a penguins fan. i was a penguins fan long before there was ever a team in ohio.....plus pittsburgh is a 1 hour drive compared to 2 1/2 to columbus.
